awesome! love seeing old tractors come to life

Man, glad you finally got that thing going! It's pretty shocking how much faster the tractor is in HIGH range! We are left with the same two problems: on my Ford 3000 diesel, nothing is getting thru the injection pump to the injectors. The newly rebuilt injection pump! 🤬 And when it finally runs, my hydraulics aren't working. You can bet I'll be watching the channel... All the best from Texas! 🇺🇸

I just tore into my injection pump. It was pretty grimy inside. I think I’ve fixed the issue but waiting to try it till I replace the fuel tank.

By the way, I’m in Texas as well.

That slime looked like rubber breaking down to me. Are the hydraulic hoses lined with a softer rubber? The color of the fluid looked like watered down foam. I'm sure that wasn't compressing as it should. Amazing what a fluid change and new filter can do!

All hard lines on this one, no rubber. It definitely had water in it.

That slime looked like Teflon thread tape to me.

It could be, maybe someone used it somewhere and it got caught up in the system.
