Take a look at the Ford 2.3L EcoBoost Engine. Ford was nice enough to put this cutout engine model on display.

I just got a 21 Explorer Timberline with the 2.3. I use Amsoil 5w30 ss and archoip ar6200 gas additive. Car runs surprisingly well. I may do a 5 star tune. I'd like to see 330hp/350lb torque at the flywheel and I'd be happy

Do not listen to the 10,000 mile interval! 3000-5000 miles! Please take care of these motors. Do not listen to that nonsense. If a normal engine can’t get 10k miles per oil change an engine with a turbo can’t either. It’s just simple physics.

Brah. Most Japanese cars have specified 7.5k miles since the early 1980's... that's using regular oil. My cars are old and high-milage and I change the oil once per year or every 10k miles... whichever comes first. Again that's regular oil. Do your research.

You can buy oil a lot cheaper than an engine, remember these guys (Ford) are in the business of selling cars .just saying

Get a dual valve oil catch can and your engine will last way longer!!! The carbon build up in the valves because of the direct injection kills theses motors!!! By 40k miles they are clunked up with gunk and destroy the engine

@@vicentechamberlain579 Lol yeah I hate that it uses an open deck block, which for it means above 400HP it starts to crack the block or lift the cylinder head causing the gasket to fail. Though the way I look at it, people were happy with 400HP in 4 cylinder RWD JDM cars like the Nissan 240SX, so the fact that you can still buy a brand new reasonably priced RWD car like that today is pretty nice i think.

There is nothing economic about this engine and whats the point of putting heavily boosted engines like these when you can put something like 5.7 Hemi V8 and still get the same fuel economy.
