Thank you! We’re glad for that too 😊
One of the best meals I have ever had was homemade pasta with ramps, morels, fresh broccolini from my garden, and of course some grated Parmesan. It was so simple but so perfect!
There's something so beautifully whimsical about making pasta out of flowers and other woodland beings. It feels almost magical. Thank you for sharing it!
Great to see Jordan out enjoying nature, that walk must have been so refreshing. Best wishes for a good recovery!

Literally the opposite of "fast food"! I can see how the time and effort to create one meal would really make you aware of and appreciate what you put into your bodies.
One word: wholesome.
Your pasta dish was a tribute to spring. I hope Jordan feels better every day.

I like to make simple syrup from the violets because the pigments in them are a beautiful deep purple that turn a hot magenta when you add any acid like lemon. Fun party trick for home cocktails or soda water
I live a very different life, but watching you two living so harmoniously in the world is a privilege to see. Thank you for sharing part of your life with strangers. Speedy recovery and all best wishes to you both.
You guys have such a great vibe. I adore your videos, super inspiring! 💖

Cotyledon blew me away! I know sometimes people say the music is too loud, and occasionally I agree if I want to hear what you guys are saying, but OMG this song over you collecting the flowers was just stunning. My favorite ethan tune so far. I have just found it on soundcloud
So good to see Jordan doing so well.. prayer sent for you both🙏🏻
I love this ! Such a beautiful video ! We foraged for fresh spring water last week and found our first morel there too ! It was soo excited. Today i made enchiladas with them .... amazing !!
Those little violets have always been my favorite! My mom was always catching me eating those and the clover blossoms!
What a beautiful dish, and the story behind the ingredients was an amazing tribute to spring. It was good to see Jordan is getting better. Can't wait to see him fully recovered. Thanks for sharing your beautiful video.

It was so good seeing Jordan out and about! I've come to love the two of you so much. Negative calories. That's funny...and true. I hiked the other day in Oregon and made a beautiful and tasty salad over an elderberry blossom crepe. Pretty sure you two inspired me to forage for dinner. 😊 Heal well and quickly Jordan! 🙏

So inspiring, love your videos. I am getting into foraging now thanks to you guys. Also I am trying to use more of what I have on hand instead of running to the store everytime I'm out of something. I find myself saying often now how would Jordan and Silvan make this dish😂😂. Glad to see Jordan up and about!!

What a beautiful homage to Spring! Enjoyed it so much.
Another beautiful and relaxing video. I hope Jordon continues to recover quickly and that pasta looks delicious. Can't wait until the next one.
I was inspired by a recent video of yours to grow black chickpeas. I didn't think the yield would make them worth it, but you two are very discerning about the staples you plant. So I'm excited for any amount of chickpeas I'll be able to harvest. Also, iirc you mentioned during the living off the land challenge that you haven't found a 1:1 substitute for AP flour in pasta. Chickpea flour may be it- you can use it totally in place of AP flour, not just partly like chestnut flour. It takes remarkably like regular pasta, but with added protein. Though you may need more freshly dried chickpeas than is practical to grow. Also, I didn't think of adding mustard flowers or forget-me-nots to pasta, or that there's still hope for me to find morels, so this is encouraging. Glad that Jordan is feeling better enough to do what he loves again!

That's great that you're giving chickpeas a try this year! We haven't grown black chickpeas yet, but I've always found them interesting. And thanks for the tip, maybe we'll give chickpea pasta a try during our next living off the land challenge.
Wow, that dough came out a beautiful green! With the other edibles it made me want to roll around in a meadow!
Looked absolutely gorgeous and delicious!
Beautiful video, Silvan! I need to go harvest some nettle from the yard. 😅 So happy to see Jordan up and about. Great music by Ethan as always. Thanks for sharing with us. 💚
A couple years ago I found what I'm certain now was bear corn. I couldn't identify back then, likely because it is definitely outside it's normal range here in the Black Hills of South Dakota, plus I found it in a ponderosa pine forest, not the normal habitat. I should have contacted the Forest Service here given how rare it's supposed to be here. Glad to see you both getting some fresh air and time in the woods!
Great to see you both happy and healthy.
i hope you well, god bless you and good fortune with the healing process, love from italy
I did not know you can eat those purple flowers… I hope Jordan is recovering well. Those noodles were awesome!!❤
Ethan's music was particularly lovely this time around. it really suited your "actions"
God bless you and your family, very yummy 👌👌
It's really lovely to see spring make its welcome approach again; the sunshine and the return of little critters warms my heart. I hope y'all find happiness and health as spring comes into full bloom.
Beautiful meal❤
Wonderful pasta wishing Brian to get well soon Thanks for all the videos ❤
Love this!! Such a cool idea, thank you for sharing. I had no idea forget-me-nots were edible!
Hoping for Jordan's fast recovery! 🙏 This video is so therapeutic! I love the green pasta. It's like a pasta from the faerie world 💚
Love the first song in this video. But it doesn’t go with the content 😂 😅. Spring is so joyful and refreshing. The music is soulful and has such sorrow. Hope Jordan continues to heal and feel much much better. You guys are awesome
What a lovely video! Made me feel all warm & cozy inside😊
Another amazing video. Thanks so much for all the time and effort you put into inspiring us! Good to see Jordan back in his feet. Hope he feels better every day!

Im so pleased to see Jordan is doing better. In Jesus name he will get complete healing. What a blessing.
Fun video as always. One suggestion, just turn down the music volume a few dbs. All the best wishes..
I hope Jordan has a speedy recovery, glad he is getting out and feeling good. Also what kind of kitchen scale do you have

No way. I found almost a pound over by Big Jim's in the run. I'd never had them before, so I was a bit sketched when they were hollow.
Hang in their Jordan thanks for the half morel information may health and happiness be with you

New to your channel! Lovely! 😊
Have y'all thought about cultivating some comfrey in your foraging areas? It would take a lot of chop & drop upkeep to stop it from taking over but it would bring lots of nutrients to everything in the area!
Pro tong test! Beautiful ode to spring. Also, lovely dress.

It’s the law
Do you have any tips on how / where to learn which plants and mushrooms are edible?
Y'all Imma be kayaking the entire Allegheny River to raise money for breast cancer research and another women's charity in honor of my mother, Aunt, and the many others that deal with this year after year. I'm heading out first week of June and would love to get some interest before heading out. I'm going to be going around everywhere in the next few weeks to talk to businesses, but y'all have a massive online following that seems to be full of wonderful people. I'll hit y'all up again, so feel free to ignore.

Where do you go hunting for morels? Any tips?

We go to local parks with lots of old trees. Especially old tulip poplars which the morel mycelium has a relationship with their roots
Your climate seems to be very similar to Northern europe. I'm guessing Northeastern US??

When you guys popped up on a short oh geese like 2 or 3 years ago especially during the pandemic times I found your insightfulness on gardening and home grown veggies to be truly profound. You also are not posers and are constantly foraging which is a huge plus in my book! I also find that I am considering putting in serious effort to start in the fall. I am the only one in my family with a good gardening thumb for about 8 years now and want to expand, on some crops what would you start out with. I am not looking for anyone else opinions on this matter just from @HomeGrown_HandGathered thanks for your time.
This was another great video! I'm so glad Jordan is starting to feel well enough to go outside! Also- the pasta looked tasty!😊
