Can we get into the fact that they writers wrote TF out of these TWENTY-SEVEN minutes & the cast delivered. Plots are thickening, characters are showing their true colors, & the stories are relatable. Hats off to this show!! Hopefully Syed will get him a lil boo by the end of the season. 🤞🏽

You know, I feel for Syed. It’s definitely an adjustment when your friends are entering relationships and you begin to wonder, “Why can’t I find someone for me?” So many think it must be nice to be able to hook up so freely, but after awhile, it does get old. This episode definitely hit a bit different, because you want to be happy for your friends finding happiness in their romantic relationships, but it can be hard to not feel a little jealous that the platonic relationships between y’all take a backseat. Still, I hope Syed is able to find him someone as well, because I do love seeing Jamal and Anthony happy. Right now, I identify with Syed the most. I get it, I truly do. Let me stop writing this comment before I start to tear up.

I can definitely relate to Syed. Instead of opening himself to be in a relationship he gets the emotional aspect of it from his friends and gets the physical from random guys. I’m seeing this is becoming difficult to substain as his friend are becoming emotionally invested in their respective partners. Especially since he’s going through his own issues and needs support.

@@TheProjectbridge Right. But my only concern is control. They aren't big named people, so it would be easier for HBO to try and control the direction of the show. I would hate that. BUT their work definitely needs to be seen. It's too good. Lol

Syed is down bad, but he will always get him a piece! I love this show, so relatable because everything literally happens like this

Syed doesn't need a man! A relationship! Or a lover. Syed needs self evaluation. He needs to find what it means to make himself happy without the need for the presence of another person. That includes friends! I think realized that when the bartender tried to shoot his shot. The look on his face said it all. He realizes that he can't find that comfortability and happiness by fucking randoms....in that moment lol. Even though he wanted to. Just speculating.

Anthony sharing their experience in the church was deep. That kind of experience is so traumatic and way too common. Bless you for including this in the show, we needed to be seen!

Hard to be open, when your friends are running out on you. Any friend can see that Syed is going through it. He wears it all over his face. Their main concern is their men. The ending of this episode solidified that opinion when they blatantly ignored Syed basically begging for them to come through for him. Anthony even promised Syed that he would show up for him And didn't. People tend to shut down when they feel abandoned.

@Orlando In this day in age, I refuse to believe they didn't check their phones at least once. Especially since they promised him that they would show up. But let's hope you're right, and they did forget. The last thing Sye needs is a man. How did Solange put it? "I tried to sex it away" 😂😂. He's going through something a man can't fix. It's the support of friends that he's asking for.

I really hope to see this get picked up by netflix or hulu. A1 talent!

The way this show has my heart!! Ant/Raymond STAY speaking to my Black soul--the looks they give each other, the vulnerability, the non-judgment, the compassion ❤️❤️❤️❤️. Oh and their sex discussion was hilarious and SO RELATABLE 🤣 I soooo understand Syed, he's feeling left behind while his friendship soulmates are experiencing these new relationships

My thoughts. 1. I freakin LOVE this show. The production is on point. The acting is superb AND HAS BEEN SINCE EP.1. With so many of these YT series the acting struggles in the beginning but improves over a few episodes. But yall have been GREAT from the get-go! I feel like I'm watchin a story about my own friend group and not some over-dramatic character representations. Which leads me to my 2nd point.. 2. Ya hittin too damn close to home! The exposed vulnerability, the seeking validation, internalized shame, loneliness, church shyt, "reverse racism".... alladat... I feel like I've been in each characters position in some form or another in my 39 years on this earth. And from the comments, I aint the only one.... This $hits good... u definitely got my attention and lowkey im kinda sorta emotionally invested... DONT FK IT UP! 3. I NEED THIS SOUNDTRACK.... ON VINYL... PERIOD. 4. Imma need a Facebook group or sumthin.. This show is sparking some much needed self-reflection and dialog that our community needs. 5. How can I support to keep this story going? It was like a month between the first few episodes now yall giving us longer episodes almost weekly..... I just wanna do my part to keep the momentum going. Dont Issa Rae/Insecure us now.. lol 6. Anthony’s perception of God mirrors my own understanding as I’ve gotten older. That was beautiful.

I see all kinds of love in this show, i see friendship love, platonic love, and then sexual love. I love the fact that it touches base on all those kinds of love and interactions we have in our day to day lives. I also have to say that although Jamal and Anthony are now finding love I feel that more importantly; Syed seems to be on a journey to find self love, but of course that's not without its hiccups. But I really am rooting for the Syed the most, I think I relate to him the most out of all of them.

One of my issues with dating outside of Black, is having to deal with how ignorant their parents are about Black people. I think it's interesting how casual Jamal was about that conversation with Black hair. But Devin defended him, so I guess the red flag is averted for now. But I see an awkward meeting with the white parents coming soon. Lol

Great episode. I truly admire the writing, being so real about the experiences of church and life in general. I appreciate, even more, the idea and fact brought to life that God is LOVE and loves everyone. I watched intently and for someone like me who truly looses attention in seconds, this was GREAT

This episode was very interesting to contrast of their relationship dynamics were very inspirational Jamal and Anthony were a whole mood if any I feel for syeed and his wanting to not break his walls and waiting to experience a sense of happiness because I too am in that same dynamic it only gets harder but eventually what u seek will find u keep up the good work fellas love the content

I’m so glad you guise put the church talk in this episode. It is so important especially in the black community. I was raised baptist, my dad is a pastor and my mom side is very into church as well so I lived in the church growing up. Thankfully God blessed me with a family/foundation of people who loved God and not religion so some things I didn’t experience as far as hatred until I became older when it comes to the church scene. I’ve always had a relationship with God.. and I still do. When God talked to me about Ministry I remember the child in me asking God how will people find you through me you know this world does not love me or respect me and I would hear God say or refer me to where in the Bible to reassure me on how they did not love him either… the church has lost its way but it will get better when people turn their focus back on building a personal relationship with God and not condemning others.. but Black men God still loves us gay straight whatever.. we are the chosen people and as much as the world has turned its backs on us… we have to remember to never turn our backs on God.. bc religious or not.. we need him and he needs us… blessings. ❤️

This show is phenomenal, incredible, absolutely beautiful! I feel for Syed as well as for Anthony they are both afraid of letting someone in. Syed really wants to fall in love but he doesn't want someone to get to close and then possibly break his heart. Syed is definitely a hopeless romantic but used hookups to make him forget about that. He uses hookups to feel some sort of connection but not one that'll get him to deep or risk himself being disappointed or hurt.

So thankful for this series it’s a everyday experience for gay individuals but it’s uplifting and inspiring it gives me hope no lies love this series 🙌🏿

I LOVE this series! The acting, cinematography, soundtrack, and writing are top notch!! It's refreshing to watch and super relatable!

the bisexual man with the locs is the type of man you cry in the shower over for weeks and weeks when he breaks up with you. Their chemistry is so real it makes me sad that this is a show.

I hate that men really hide so much and are not vulnerable. I feel like Raymond always pulling and pushing men to open up to me. Being transparent and them not willing to do the same is annoying. Yet emotional men are considered weak. I think emotionally unavailable and emotionally immature men are weak.

The cinematography and the shots inepisode were TOP NOTCH!!! The acting was GREAT too.

I love me some Anthony, I love his spirit and his energy. I'm not sure why Syed, is embarrassed by his job. This bar tenders if fine as hell. His buff ass. Anthony is serving in all these outfits. I am also in love with all the music for every episode. I l adore the connection of how society tried to place us in a box. The ability to connect to the Black community on all aspect I adore this episode. We don't need church to recognize the beauty in ourselves. Oh Raymond just nasty lol he wanna be dessert.

Thank you for posting this great series. Honestly, Jamal and Devin are irritating me; their newly romance reminds me of teenagers. And the topic of Devin's family isn't new. And I believe that I know why Anthony is behaving like so, I believe either has HIV or Anthony is a part of the umbrella term Intersex. Specifically Anthony could have Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome/AIS. And aww, I felt for Syed who wanted to be around his friends. It seems something is on his mind and/or feelings. Also I feel he may actually like Jamal but never admitted it.

See I said the same thing. Now I am all for being safe and wanting to know where you stand with a person because guys will literally just use you. But he always gets uncomfortable the topic comes up and it’s not because he doesn’t want to do it but i think it’s because he might be HIV+ but hasn’t told anyone about his diagnosis. If he is I just hope that Raymond would still see him for who he is which is a beautiful soul. And I get the same thing with syed. I feel like he likes Jamal but he sleeps with random people to try and get over his feelings for him. It reminds me of Ricky and Noah’s relationship in Noah’s arc when Ricky was in love with Noah the whole entire time but used to sleep with random guys to try and get over those feelings because Noah didn’t feel the same about him.

I love ya'll shows, this channel is so underrated
