She didn't want the 2nd bedroom due to crafts near her clothes but took a 1 bedroom with crafts in the same room.

What a great host with real experience - Jodi - what a beautiful lady. Looking at her features, she reminds me of a film actress from the 1940's like Rita Hayworth, but more unique. They were lucky to have her as their host.

i love how upfront Jodi is about HATING the wood panelling. Like, I don't blame her but it's so funny how she isn't trying to hide it at all.

so funny, even Jodi had to remove her high-heels just to be able to comfortably stand in the 1st apartment

Indeed, I noticed that too! She would have been ducking or bumping her head if she was wearing her high heeled boots throughout the first apartment.. I also noticed with the other 2 apartments she kept her boots on, while the other two girls were in their socked feet throughout the showings.. How fair is that? Jodi should have taken her boots off as well, regardless..😏

Love the makeover, the bedroom was beautiful. But facts: I've lived in a house (not a basement) a house with low ceilings. You will quickly get claustrophobic when you have people over. Also any time you cook, the heat will have no place to go so the apartment will be very warm, I set smoke detector off at least once a week. Last thing, with all the exposed brick (anyone else notice the area with foam around a window?) All I could think was spiders (sad face) Glad she's happy, though, great makeover as always.

She was unwilling to pay an extra $100 a month, so she can shop and shop. She has enough clothes to last years.

Agree, she has to put that all those clothes somewhere, eventually you run out of space in a one bedroom apartment. Now, let's talk about how the makeover cost almost a month's rent on the apartment!!!!!

Did not see egress windows in those basement apartments. In my area lacking such would be an illegal rental due to no escape in case of a fire.

Awesome job remodeling the place but where is she storing all her clothes because I saw the dresses that were hanging and what appeared to be some sweaters and tops on the shelfs, where is she storing the rest because she did say she had like 3 closets of clothing.

There's also storage behind the curtain in that area, but I agree it doesn't seem like nearly enough. She's going to have to bring in a wall of IKEA wardrobes or something. Also the crafting area is nothing but a lovely table. I think she'll end up crafting at her table in the kitchen.

If she would cut back on unnecessary shopping, her budget would be much more flexible for other things. But she did get a very nice apartment and Jody and her crew did a terrific job.

I love Trish; she's so full of life and positivity. 💚💛💜 A woman who knows her mind. If she were a man, people would call him decisive, someone who, "knows his mind," but because it's a woman she needs to, "grow up. " Go figure. Gotta love armchair quarterbacks.

This woman is getting on my nerves with her issue with clothes closets and when JODY gives her great suggestions which I’ve never seen an ugly apartment she’s done, she questions it. Lived in the ugliest apartment ever and everything JODY has shown her is better than where she is coming from

Thank you!! she is worried about her clothes & all those shoes that doesn’t have enough storage..space more than saving money on food, cell phone bills, life insurance, & other bills like rent & utilities that she have to pay for living in a basement. I agree.. she have options that Jodi provide for her with extra storage, or to either sell her clothes, donate it to a Salvation Army to people in need, or cut down on her spending habits on the clothes that she isn’t going to wear it. from the looks of it she seems financially..irresponsible with her money that doesn’t save it for a rainy day just in case of an emergency.

Hard for me to understand this woman. You can wear only so many clothes. Guess I missed that gene as a woman. I don't enjoy shopping at all. I had rather have money in my pocket than so many clothes...and maybe an apartment that's not in a basement.

I don't believe in subterranean living. I would rather live in a park under a tree than in a basement. Pop my 9" heels on - and I'd get a free head injury included in the space #1.

Basement apartments suck. They’re always cold 🥶 and the windows in #3 are totally illegal because they do not allow egress in case of fire! 🔥 Single women are also more vulnerable to predators in basement and first floor apartments. Edit: I didn’t notice the larger window in the bedroom before I commented prematurely. I would still be concerned about safety issues for a woman.
