Kensei is fun, but he is a bit outdated in the current meta. I'd say just update his moveset, like being able to get a hit from superior block side dodges.

Yeah definitely he needs some love, gb on any side dodge block would be nice and maybe make his bash a neutral bash instead of soft feint heavy

@@TNC96. Yeah I agree with those changes. Especially the bash from soft feint heavy since it's somewhat obvious to the trained eye. I kind of also want to say to speed up the soft feint heavy side lights as well, as people seem to be able to parry them easily and I find them useful to close the distance sometimes.

- GB on side superior dodge, top directional only properties is vastly outdated and needs standardization. - Hyper armour on second heavy to match finisher heavies. Remove armor on the finisher light, lights should never be armoured unless to garentee a punish like Warden's new bash confirmed lights. - Dodge forward light shouldn't bounce (superior light). Soft feinted lights shouldn't bounce either, to continue chain pressure; balanced by his chains being stupidly slow for today's meta.

Kensei changes Enhanced helm splitter & soft feint lights Sped up natures wrath with top superior block properties like Zhan Side superior block guarantees dodge attack or Gb Running speed increased Hyper armor on second heavy hard feint

I like to do natures wrath on light parry since you can flow straight into your unblockable mixup again and apply more pressure

Kensei could use a little stamina buff, maybe something like gladiator's unique faster regen (basekit nukukebi?) But aside from that he's so well balanced! And such an enormous moveset

Ahaha thanks man, so 1. I think like 8 on pc and about 22 on my old console account 2. I use an Xbox elite controller feels really good and I overclock it 3. Ahaha because the end of that clip is just me healing and my teammates getting kills it would make for a real boring 45 second ending

One thing i hate when deflecting is worrying about Hyper armor follow up attacks if the assassin doesnt have a deflect that cancels the oponnents move like Shinobi, Orochi, Zerk, i main Glad and play Shaman too (my highest rep assassins) but damn shamans recovery is decent so i can block/dodge as long as the follow up isnt fast but glad my boi is trash you deflect go for the skewer then it bounces and you eat a heavy like WTF ?

That is called a dodge block, you dodge into the direction of the attack on the same timing you would if you were to parry the attack. Kensei gives a gb if you successfully dodge block a top attack. Assassins and some hybrids have a similar move called a deflect that work the same way but with various different punishes. Hope this helps ✌🏼
