I'm a Diamond 5 player was literally 27% away from Master and watched Misty do some crazy shit and tried it myself and lost 2 games straight...I get worse because I try to copy the Goat. Lmao

when i first started watching Misty's Gladiator i tried to replicate his moves and movement and after awhile i just adapted it with my own flairs, so yea i definitely did better after watching Misty xD i have come to love deflecting as well and will do it no matter the cost

Watching misty fall for the same side dodge light 3-4 times in the first round forced me to kick my gold fish

I could watch an hour worth of Misty’s gameplay and still be in awe

I was fighting a PK one day, I'm terrible against peacekeeper and they were a high rep. Thought for sure I'd lose. But I ended up winning. On your topic of not giving up. In one of the rounds I was going to bleed to death, but kept going, ended up killing the PK and won. I died like a second after killing her lol.

idk if you know that but a little advice, never do an execution when you kill someone and you still bleed, because of the execution the round wont end until the execution is done and if the heal from your execution doesnt come fast you will die and the round will result in a tie, i had one guy who made a tie of a round i should have lost, i played nobu and he bleed to death but end up killing me

Dude I CANNOT get good at this game. I’ve been playing since launch and I haven’t gotten any better from then. Then watching misty play who prays for a light is insane. I’d be lucky if I even block a light let alone chain lights😭😭

i used to get comfortable trading with hyper armor and ending the matches as fast as i could but after training to parry i can get some light parries, and they are really sweet on shugoki since they guarantee a hug

@@AdrianOkay trading with hyper armor is the way to go😂. I try training mode out and just have glad or orochi light spam but still cannot block consistently. Glad can get the whole 4 chain lights on me no problem. I just uninstalled the game like 30 mins ago😭😭

Have you done a reaction test? It's incredibly unlikely that you wouldn't have gotten used to things by this point. Scientifically, most of For Honor's reaction based interactions are well within the average human being, even more so someone who plays games.

Deflect God makes local player Rage Quit😂 I wouldn't want to get clowned on by the King either Surprising how often Raider is the solution to other Heroes😂 Taps and Heavies all night long Day Seven of Reclaiming my Honor: I mixed it up today with a completely new Hero: Berserker. The first half of matches went well... big wins, decent mix for my combos, even made an overly aggressive Warmonger rage quit, but the second half... ugh. I don't know if I just got too predictable with my swings, or if I started getting matched against Parry Gods... I was definitely lacking in defense, like I always am, but when I can only hit with feint-lights and parry punishes, there's a serious problem. Berserker's going back on the shelf after getting clowned on a few too many times. I need a bit more utility than endless swings and dodge attacks.

As a zerk main maybe I can help ya out a bit. His biggest strengths lie in his hyper armour, his deflects, and his soft feints. Fancy lights will end up getting you parried if they're good, so try to do more baits as well as feints into nothing so as to gain info on you opponent. Hope this helped a little!

Dont forget backstep light into heavy and feinting to heavy/gb. Those are my best openers/tips from a rep 11 zerk. And if you whiff a heavy you can dodge out of recovery. Really underrated but youll get baited, dont feget to switch which dodge attack you do.

@@butternug5303 ya I didnt mention that because at the higher levels it gets pretty hard to do those things. Normally you'll get baited or just parried off reaction lol. But still very viable moves if you know where and when to work them in!

@@zacharysumma9632 I've Armored my way past a few aggressive players. Armored lights are wild, even if I have to set them up with a feint. I suck at deflecting, though, since my first instinct is usually just to parry.(too much time with non-Assassins) I definitely have to use the dodges and dodge attacks more.

@@MaximumRabbit ya normally I just stare at them or keep heavy feinting until I see what they like to do, whether its a parry, dodge or nothing. It helps to know which mix ups will work on your opponent. EDIT: And of course being able to light parry and deflect are very helpful lol

As someone who picked up playing Medjay bc i enjoy him It irks me a bit that the medjay didn't attempt to axe mode you alot more i prefer to use it on faster opponents due to the predictablity of ther heaveies and such in staff mode

In my op I feel like his staff mode, unblockable grab where he grabs them and kicks them back should wall splat but I don’t think it does. Kind of a miss on the devs there but they can always fix that.

@@davidritterson7236 I don't fully like Medjay but it's mostly just his slow staff heavies and low gb vulnerability on dodge heavies that throw me off but it ain't nothing crazy Would be hella cool if his knee grab wall splatted though, kinda like Cent's parry knee bash!

Is glad good at anything? Like orochi has dodge recovery, Pk and zerk can dodge cancel, I have 12 reps with glad and I have yet to find anything that glad has that’s similar to those other assassins, am I missing something? Someone please enlighten me

He already does that, if you look at the title of his vids it always says something like “(title here), Gladiator duels” which means he’s only playing glad in duels for the vid (like in this vid), or “(title here), Random duels” which means he’s playing random characters (by pressing the button) in duels

Yet another day of watching people get deflected repeatedly for not feinting to GB or throwing prediction GBs in neutral. It's not about getting a punish, it's about conditioning someone like Misty to stop deflecting so you can do what you want.
