for better or worse, Mr Brock. 😬| I'M GONNA BE FIRED. 🤦‍♀️| Vlog 502

Looking like the universe would rather see me sheep farm, than co-pilot this year's grain harvest.
After temporarily giving up on soybean harvest, we thought we would take advantage of whatever dry days we have to start corn.
Although the first day is always trying... this one was particularly bad.
and most of it seemed to be my fault. 🙋‍♀️

  • @rebeccaburrow7199

    @rebeccaburrow7199

    @Acer Acres well you were not willing to be a real team then, were you? Marriage does not work when all you (or both of you) do is look to the other for what you can get out of them. Marriage is not bad because you failed. You are. All marriage does is hold a couple to their word. A man (or woman) not willing to be an adult and keep their word is not worth marrying, so by your own admission, you never should have married if you were not going to take your own word seriously. Marriage is what adults do when they stop acting like selfish children and care more about someone else than themselves.

And as much as it's frustrating and even financially scary for them to be worrying about being able to harvest and plant due to weather and other circumstances out of their control, it's actually really good for us who are removed from the fields and the barns. We get to see the work and the stress and all that farmers go through to get our food to us. The authenticity of Sandi's videos, the authenticity of Sandi and Mark's relationship, their conversations, their work ethic, showing the good and the bad, the victories and the fails/frustrations is what we need to see.

I'd love to try other pain medication options, which I will bringing up at my next pain management appointment. I was involved in 2 pretty bad wrecks, so I deal with a neck plate and a damaged lower back and hip. After 2 hip surgeries, it's still not fixed so I have to take it one day at a time, and find the positives, even if they are tiny and many would find silly. Into everyday a little rain must fall and there are no perfect people. You and Marc need to give yourselves a little grace. I admire all the things that you and your husband get through in a day.

    On paper, I'm sure all most people cab see is the money coming in....I look at the equipment, and all I can see is the money going out. That and the EVERYDAY hard work you all put in is daunting. God bless!

    I had a little beagle mix named Choco when I was young: never barked once in her whole life. She was so smart, I went through 4-H obedience with her and she took 2nd highest score of the entire show. Very sweet girl. She disappeared when I was away at boarding school and my heart was broken.

    Yous guys have the BEST TOYS! (and face gargantuan problems When they happen!) It takes a farmer to conquer so much adversity and to absorb value so many blessings. We should all take a turn at farming, to Build 'character' and make good humans of us all.

    Fear not ! Mark does NOT have time to divorce you and from what I've seen, it could easily take 2 or 3 other peopleto replace you, so firing you is also out of the question. Besides, you, Mark, your 2 kids, Carissa and Monty are a fantastic team ! The love and passion shines through in each of your Vlogs. Thank you for your wonserful Vlogs and let us know to whom we should complain about the frequent and seemingly arbitrary demonetization/deletion/censorization of your Vlogs.

    Do you use an oxygen sensor before entering the silos, since it is a “confined space”? There is a lot of Operational Experience with people dying in confined spaces due to lack of oxygen or engulfment. Safety first. Love your videos.
