People have criticized her for leaving but it's ok they don't know what she endured in her marriage, l and my siblings know everything. And we will be her pillar to lean on so that she can slowly heal from her trauma.

God Almighty will heal her. I was in one I left and didn't listen to what people are saying, most especially church people. It sad how people protect this type of men. Love is not abuse, leave to live please, I beg of you! 😢 She literally had no moment of peace in that marriage, slap here, slap there, dragging and accusations of cheating here and there. She lived in fear everyday and the monster was the sweetest with his mistress. The wife endured cheating and domestic violence, dealing with one is daunting enough, now imagine dealing with two of them!!! Uche really embodied the role of a battered wife.

One thing I didn't like about nollywood was the fact that they never let us enjoy the romance btw couples but, this one is different. Even though the chemistry was not chemistrying, I loved the scenes. No one deserved to be abused that way for whatever reason. Watch the movie you won't regret!!! This movie is a teaching lesson. Until you lose something, you wont know its value, Boma learnt the hard way and got stuck with the worst version of him. Ibiere was strong headed to leave after pleading numerous times to be well treated, she left to save her life and give herself a second chance to find someone that will love her the right way and show her what love is about. We need more movies about domestic violence, more would never be enough for the number of lives lost to it. Many women going through that and even worse and won't leave because of one reason or another one. More movies will definitely be an eye opener and might give courage to some women to take that move. Thanks to the crew for this particular topic. Each actor played very good, i moved from God forbid while dropping some tears to God when while smiling like a mumu seeing Ibiere (Uche) smiling. Anthony the demon and Kachi the lover were amazing. Uche Montana, my all time favourite. She brought out everything about Ibiere's emotions, from her weakness, to her madness, to her anger, to her shyness when facing a new love, to her happiness, then her confusion after the wicked man tried to win her again, you could see the hell Ibiere went through. Literally when she enters a character she becomes one with her, it's so amazing to see. I'm glad she's still picking such movie bcz she impacts people's life and her acting in such will definitely help some to run away from violent men in relationships. More of Uche and Kachi pair, the chemistry was there, sweet kind, respectful, lovable... They were so beautiful to watch. Thanks for this movie, loved it and will comes back to watch Uche and Kachi moments. 😊

Now that I am done watching, I can finally say the movie is great. This is a beautiful story that teaches a great lesson to everyone in an abusive situation. To the cast and crew, please take your flowers 🌺 🌸 💐. You guys did a beautiful job! I thought they were gonna disappoint me with Ibiere going back to her abuser especially seeing the part where she was almost sympathetic to her husband the abuser. She was mentally, physically and emotionally abused to the point where she lost herself, it was really nice to see that she had the courage to say enough was enough and ran for her dear life. However, I think her moving on too quickly made it a bit less realistic, for one who was battered like that, I don’t think a few weeks is enough for her to move on quickly with another man, then again, some people move on quickly but not everyone. Realistically speaking, an abused person needs to heal, forgive themselves, prepare themselves mentally for another relationship so that they don’t continue the cycle of abuse. It’s very easy to move from one abusive relationship to another if one doesn’t take their time to heal from the past trauma. Let’s talk about Boma, the SOB deserved everything he got from his side chick, I mean he treated that piece of trash like gold but when he had the real gold, he treated her like trash. I loved how she dealt with him and made him understand that she wasn’t one to be messed with 😂 (My kind of woman minus the side chic part sha 😂) I mean he didn’t even know how beautiful his wife was till someone else polished her up and he had the effrontery to say “oh my God, you look beautiful”. I felt like pulling him out of the screen and giving him the beating of his life 🤣🤣🤣. An abusive human being disgusts me 😢 Kachi’s character embodied the role of a loving man, he portrayed the character of how a woman should be loved and treated with care and absolute respect. And if you are going through abuse and reading this, know that you are strong, you are beautiful, you deserve better than your current situation. No man or woman is worth it, trust me, you would only be reduced to nothing and you would lose yourself in the process. Please LEAVE TO LIVE, that’s all I can say. We are tired of reading news about battered people being murdered in the hands of their spouses. Again, Leave to live, you deserve everything good in life irrespective of what your abuser is saying to you. To my girl, @TheUcheMontana, I am speechless about her but really she is everything she thinks she is and more. She is really that girl 🥰🥰. I hope to see you getting awards upon awards! To those who are like me who look out for comments about the movie other than comments drooling about the actors and shipping the actors who are only doing their job without strings attached, I did this for you, I hope you like it 😂. Overall, it was such a great movie!

He abused her in every way and form, then gaslighted her all through and even almost drugged her to cover up his track. May we never encounter anyone like Boma but sadly there are a lot of Bomas out there in the world. Anthony Woode gave life to that character. He portrayed the character of a wicked, manipulative and gaslighting spouse so well. That guy deserves his flowers 💐 😂😂
