"For Beginners" Series (Pehla Qadam) is a science series arranged by The Black Hole, Islamabad. Designed for audiences of high school and above, this session will be conducted by Pakistan’s acclaimed Nuclear Physicist Dr. Pervez Hoodbhoy.
In the first lecture of this series, Pervez Hoodbhoy explains the extraordinary ideas of a man who sifted through the accumulated knowledge of centuries, tossed out mistaken beliefs, and single-handedly made enormous advances in mathematics, mechanics and optics.

Sir i read in class 10 ,i have been learning that proton and neutron are present in the nucleus while electron is surrounding around the nucleus but when i asked the question how these sub particle are formed in the nature then no one can answer me

Proton and neutrons are not the fundamental one they are made up of Quarks ... yes electrons are fundamental they are belonging to atom families Leptons ....

@03:57. "Yeh Rome me rehta tha ...". Is that correct? He was born in Pisa. Attended university in Pisa and Padua. He did, however, go to Rome, when he was summoned, to defend himself. (Ref Wikipedia)

Good catch. I noted it too. Professor Hoodbhai probably meant in “Roman region” and not just the city of Rome. As Galileo moved between different regions and cities. Thank you for pointing out specifics. Peace 🙏🙏🙏
