Thanks for the memories I grew up in the Footscray area my father born 1908 attended the Geelong Rd school I attended Footscray Girls Secondary School Miss Facey Headmistress 1962. My parents married at St.Johns Paisley St December 1937 Born 1950. All the family supported Footscray footy club. Our hero was Teddy Whitten.

Lots of history and lovely old buildings in Footscray! I’m happy to learn the old buildings have quite often been refurbished, instead of being torn down (which happens in our area). Great design elements. I especially enjoyed seeing the mural and hearing about him and his family. Nice that new people are moving to the area and keeping the town vibrant! 👌👍👍🌻🌻

We enjoyed hearing about Franco Cozzo and his furniture. And his wayward son. Oh, the facade of the Grand Theater is sad looking these days. The town hall looks great - as do a number of other historic buildings. Thanks for taking us along for the walk!

Hi Jojo and Peter Another beautiful and educational heritage walking tour. Wow Franco was mesmerized byr his passion for his furniture business. The mural means a lot to the residence here, I reckon. Brock Furniture...reminds me of my grandmother in-law's house. She had very detailed wooden furniture just like you introduced in the film 4:11 Its details are as marbulous as I see rich heritage in architecture in this town I am glad I am able to take advantage and witness its existence through the film. It seems you all had a little fun with this walking tour. Thank YOu so much for sharing the precious moments. hahah Jojo's jacket suggest the winter has arrived. Stay warm Jojo and Peter

Like the cafe took its name from the once shopping centre that was there! Ooo the baroque style furniture….nice! Nice Muriel.
