The egg told Bad that if he helped it it would give him what he wished for. I'm thinking something to do with Skeppy. At this time Bad accidently pushed red Skeppy into lava.

It wouldn't have gone on this long without ot being cannon. Too many people were involved. It took over parts of the SMP with its red vines. It formed out of nowhere. Skeppy lived inside the obsidian and turned red. I think it's like all the lore on general, no one has an idea about how to tie ot all together yet.

As someone who didn't enjoy egg lore much in the first place, I either hope they will do something cool with it, maybe explain stuff, give us the backstory (I was really invested in Masquerade so something like that?) or get it over with. I almost don't care about the egg lore at this point, it has been dragging on for far too long imo.

I honestly agree. The egg was always a cool idea in concept, but the execution has been very, very poor. And a lot of missed potential. Though a lot of it is due to the breaks and the content creators overall losing interest in the SMP lore and just wanting to play Minecraft again. But still, at this point, they either need to do something with it, or retire the concept altogether.

well, his best friend/lover (real vague) skeppy was taken over by the egg. in a fit of rage for skeppy now avoiding him constantly, bbh accidentally killed him. after accidentally killing skeppy, the egg (which had only briefly sunk its vines into bbh at a previous point in time), takes complete control of bbh due to his vulnerability at the time. now it commanded bbh to kill everyone who opposed the egg, so he forms a party in order to deceive everyone and trap them in one place to kill them. he has antfrost kill foolish right in front of his mother puffy, then prepared to kill more people until techno, quackity, and purpled entered the room and stopped the event by bombing the egg. bbh ran away, now freed from the egg's control, but to say he's been affected by the egg is an understatement to say the least lol. it's traumatized him to such a degree that he shuts himself off from everyone he knew in order to keep them safe from himself. all by himself, he was left with nothing but the thoughts that he killed his good friend and almost killed everyone he knew and loved.

Bad after the egg is broken: WHAT DO WE DO?! me if I joined: Nationwide is on your sideee~

Plot twist: The Egg is the materials in the chest. So once somebody burns that stuff, it’ll regrow somewhere else.
