Foods To Eat For FET Day! Nutrition For Fertility

We're talking about best foods to eat for FET day along with discussing nutrition for fertility in general! I LOVE food and so talking about foods I'm eating to prepare my body for FET day is very exciting for me! Nutrition can seem complicated especially when it comes to fertility, but it shouldn't be so I hope you find this video simple yet informative.
I hope I give you some ideas on foods to eat for your FET day. I hope this video is helpful in simplifying how nutrition can help fertility, and ultimately help that embryo stick!
Our FET Day (round 2) is still on track for this summer, so I'm starting to focus on eating foods to help boost fertility helping my body accept our embryo. We did our first FET exactly 2 years ago and I'm basically eating the same things in hopes to have another successful frozen embryo transfer🙏

Hi Brittany, is absolutely amazing to see you again. I followed you all last summer. I’m still watching your videos. This is Nojo and I thank you for preparing me so me and my husband finally got to start IV for egg retrieving and we have to do a frozen NBO transfer but we have been at this since December 2023 I still have not had my egg retrieval like you. I’m beyond myself right now. I knew it could take a while but dang it for me. It’s been cyst Since I have not had in 20 years, I didn’t get any since like this until I started birth control and it’s really depressing. I meant we’re on our fourth go with this trying to get it done and start. I just want to get the eggs out and get healthy, embryo and freeze them to start and get pregnant in October but the way it’s going… like you we’ve had 13 years of Iconic active infertility 20 years total cause I knew I was gonna have trouble from the get-go when me and my husband got together and this is our first time financially being able to do this. You know, my insurance is amazing thank God and so it’s helped quite a bit, like he said the mental toll and emotional taking is hard but I wish you all the best luck. I will be implementing all your suggestions and I hope the best for all of us sorry so long.

Thank you so much!! I have been wanting to see a video like this and it is awesome! Would you be able to do a "what I eat in a week/day" video? I always struggle with what to eat, I get bored of food and then as a working mom, it gets hard to always pick healthy meals. Again, thank you so much for sharing this!! ❤❤ we too are about to do our 3rd FET in June or July. Good luck to you!

Couple of weeks ago I started to look for information like this here on YT, mostly to find people who went through the IVF and who wanted to share an open an honest experience. Next Monday I will be on my first visit to consider IVF as a treatment for conceiving, and at least from diet perspective I'd say I'm already 100% aligned with what you consume in preparation to your IVF journey. The only difference is that I don't eat animal products except for eggs every once in a while (when there is not better option that eating only veggies and grains). I started to focus onto those nutrients which are recommended when practicing towards a pregnancy almost 1y ago, when I thought my husband and I were able to conceive naturally. Turned out that there is another plan for us, but at least I know I'm doing good to my body already :)

Good luck for baby no2! Having my FET next 2 weeks, excited and nervous at the same time. My acupuncturist said I need to keep warm, do you think ginger is okay during the 2ww? I did see some videos that said anything herbs/"hot" food should be avoided during the 2ww.

Yes keep warm especially your feet. My acupuncturist told me to do foot baths..I never did but not a bad idea! I’m not sure about the ginger but I love ginger and I would still eat it. I’m also not sure about herbs either I’m so sorry I don’t know much about that! Maybe you can get back to us with what you find out❤️ Praying for a smooth and successful FET!🙏 I’m very excited for you and sending you lots and lots of baby dust girl!💕💕

I love that I get to actually watch one of your videos while nursing my baby boy 🥹 Collin was 8 wks old yesterday! You are so relatable! I remember when you were pregnant and said you took a long time to truly believe you were pregnant and I remember wondering how that could be but then it was the same for me and I thought, she was right! And now that I actually have him here, I just keep thinking, will it ever feel real?! And that's what you just said, everyday (more than a year later) you can hardly believe he is there! I think that'll be my husband and I too! If we give ourselves a moment to reflect we are instantly brought to tears. 🥹 Your food videos really helped me a year ago when I was in the depths of our IVF process so I know there will be many others who will be thankful to come across your advice! The struggle I'm having right now is what I can eat while being a breastfeeding mama and how it affects baby. He has a sensitive reflux system and so many of my go tos, I can't eat right now (broccoli, salads (green leafy), spicy foods (Epic Sriracha Chicken jerky) Hippeas, hummus, dairy (I am still having cheese but not yogurt), Built protein bars (sugar alcohols and chocolate). Anything that could make you gassy or bloated or has hot spice or garlic. It's just a struggle when I need quick, convenient, mess free snacks and meals that are bland. It's all just a work in progress 😅 I'm curious to see how your protocol may have changed with the process now. Something I hadn't really thought about but makes sense. Question for you because I believe we used the same infertility clinic (SRM), did you call them to let them know you had Quinn? It occurred to me that since they are no longer in the picture (only licensed to care for us until 10 wks pregnant) how do they know if you had a successful pregnancy. Both for the sake of accuracy in the statistics of success rates and for the "contract" we were under (It's complete until either you exhaust all your embryos or bring home a baby). And also to just let them know! My clinic is not local for me (it's in Spokane and we are in Kalispell, MT) so it's not like we can just pop in there. I plan to call but have had lots of other things keeping me preoccupied I just haven't done it yet. I did send them our announcement Christmas card. And still plan to do a birth announcement, again, haven't had time to work on it yet...anyway, just wondering how you handled that? Thanks as always, Brittany ~Brittney

Hi Brittney!! It’s sooo good to hear from you again and thank you so much for your update! He’s already 8 weeks!! Wow time flies🥹❤️ I’m so sorry you’re having to deal with reflux; I hear that’s incredibly difficult!! Just know that this is a very short phase you’re going through with him and it’s going to be over so fast…he’ll be eating solids before you know it and this will all be in the past a few months from now I promise!🙏 Babies change so fast it’s incredible!! To answer your question, SRM didn’t know I had Quinn until I told them when I reached out to them to talk about our next FET. They were so happy to hear about Quinn and were so sweet in congratulating me. Highly recommend you let them know; it feels really good to do that and I know they appreciate the update too. Keep me posted on how you and baby are doing! Congratulations on your miracle baby and you’re doing a great job mama don’t ever forget that!💗💗
