🔖在新马一带,早期的客家人以劳力为生,耕种蔬菜为主。为了吃得饱,他们清炒了许多青菜和豆干来配白饭,再撒一些炒香的花生,就是一碗很好吃的擂茶饭了。
🌿芙蓉亚沙新村,里头有一间住家式的擂茶馆。虽然,一个星期只有几天开门做生意,但是休息日并没有停下来,他们还要准备炒香和磨碎花生。
📌我不是美食家,不去点评食物,而是站在另一个角度去欣赏美食,感恩厨师的付出和辛劳,也敬佩传统美食业者的坚持。

🍀Lei Cha, also known as ground tea, is a traditional tea-based beverage or gruel originating from Southern China and is a significant part of Hakka cuisine. In Malaysia, the Hakka people primarily lived a nomadic lifestyle in mountainous areas. Their livelihoods were labour-intensive, and they cooked whatever could be foraged or grown on the land.
🍁This is a classic Hakka dish in which ingredients are ground with a mortar and pestle to make a thick green soup. It consists of a mixture of tea leaves, herbs, nuts, and seeds that are ground together to create a thick paste. This paste is then mixed with hot water to make a fragrant tea-like soup. Lei Cha includes a variety of vegetables, such as leafy greens, beans, radishes, and others. It is typically served with rice and sometimes meat.

    I go there often. Opens on tuesday, thursday n weekends from 11am to 2pm But mostly soldout by 1pm. Depends on your luck. Reasonable pricing but lack of car park spaces.
