Description: Zento is a Japanese Contemporary Cuisine Restaurant and Sake Bar located on 2nd and Chestnut in Olde City, Philadelphia. Zento serves a variety of specialty sakes which you will not find everywhere. Not to mention, the sushi is fresh, delicious and delightful to your palate. Zento proudly creates its own soy sauce and spicy mayo sauce. There's free validated parking Monday -- Thursday evenings after 5pm in the EZ parking lot for Zento customers only.
Chef Sam Ho: Alumni from the Culinary School of Walnut Hill Restaurant School, Chef Sam Ho worked at Morimoto. When working at Morimoto, Chef Sam Ho found his cooking niche: French style cuisine in Japanese cuisine. Within a year, Sam was promoted from line cook to Sous Chef at Morimoto. At Zento, you will appreciate and spoil your palate from Sam's creativity skills and attention to details.
