I like that the store had an app that gives you a discount I guess kind of like a coupon. Yes your tips can be used anywhere you live with these crazy inflations.

Wonderful video, I’m living in Dubai since 2005, I suggest to visit VIVA, Lulu and Nesto hyper markets. Viva is little smaller than other groceries. Most of them are cheaper. Tarek

Thank you. I visited Viva and Lulu did two grocery haul videos. Viva is cheaper than most supermarkets. My next haul will be Nesto I've never been there so looking forward to that. What's your take on the products at Nesto

@@funwithjwill Hi, Nesto is little cheaper than Lulu, both are good. From my experience, each one of hypermarkets have their own weakness and strength. Example, for fruits and veg don’t miss coop. Fresh and nice especially in barsha mall. Etc I’m enjoying your videos.

What a fantastic video. Thank you for all this. Very well put together. You are a very smart shopper. I am very frugal and many of the tips that you gave are things that I’ve been doing for years to save money. I am an international traveler, and I noticed that in many grocery stores, there is always a section both in the bread section and general grocery section where they have reduced products. Reduced products are near expiry date or products that have been damaged so they are put at a very low price. I love shopping in those sections. Sadly, I do think Dubai is very expensive. At least this grocery store is ! I am Canadian and my friend just came back from Dubai and told me how cheap the food was, but that is not the impression I had. I’m not sure where this friend shops, but compared to my local grocery store here, Most of these products are double priced even the cheapest store brand. nevertheless, I appreciate this thorough breakdown of prices on products and you’re very helpful tips😊😊

I'm glad that you found value in this video. I think most products in Dubai are expensive compared to other places. The good thing a lot of stores here have weekly promotions so you can save a little money but you have to shop around. There are supermarkets to fit a variety of budgets as well. If you haven't already check out the video I did at Spinney's that one of the most expensive supermarkets here. I plan to do some more because I actually enjoy the shopping videos

There's other stores you could try. I did a video with a store that's considered the cheapest in Dubai. Check it out and let me know if the prices in the US is still better

Old tech many soap products are in selfcintainedpods

Almost every item is 2 + dollars more in America eccept for the canola oil and milk which is cheaper Driscoll straberries that size would be around 8 dollars in the US

​@@funwithjwill I don't live in uae but since I'm from ksa and frequent traveller to barain and uae the similarly between them helped me realise that the best way of shopping since there is a frequent discounts every week I'll see each store weekly flyer promotion and pick the best store that make discount for the things that I want that week. It better to see the promotion online before going to the store.

Compared to UK prices these are very cheap

Dubai is really cheap, uk n us pricing are skyrocketing.
