The Stroopwaffel McFlurry is delicious! The next time you’re in NYC, go to Sam Won Garden and have Pyongyang naengmyeon. I tried it recently and it’s surprisingly good. For your tastebuds, you might need to bring some spice

@@horseplop9 Might be biased but Utrecht for sure, it has a very unique vibe with terraces lined along the wharves of the canals; especially nice during the summer as the whole city centre lights up. I think Lonely planet also mentioned it as one of the top 10 unsung places around the world at some point. It's also the central train hub for all of the Netherlands so you're bound to pass through it if you travel around :p

I loved Anthony Bourdain show it was one of my favorite to watch. That would be interesting to see like a one-day adventure in a city you've never been. For even one you have been too and exploring different places. This was a good episode 😊 thank you for sharing.

Those huge stroopwafels are just for tourists, no sane Dutch person would ever buy one there (the supermarket ones are fine). The Seafood Shop is a very posh version of seafood stalls you find all over the country, next time try the Kibbeling :-)

The best way to eat herring is either fried, served with mashed potatoes, or as "rullströmming"(herring rolls) which is herring rolled together then cooked in salt, sugar and dill.
