In this food tour of Dubai, we started with some of the most legendary of all Iranian kebabs in Dubai. I then took to exploring the spice souk, and finally we headed over to Bu Qtair to eat a whole fish fry - another one of the most famous, sort of Dubai street food style meals.
AL Ustad Special Kabab - The food here is spectacular. If you’re looking for some mind-blowing flavorful kebabs, this is the place to eat when you’re in Dubai. All the kebabs were amazing, but the lamb marinated lamb was mind-blowing.
Total price - 100 AED ($27.21)
but I think they hooked us up with some dishes
Al Bastakiya - This is a very interesting area of Dubai to explore, it’s a re-created old styles Dubai village. Unfortunately it was a little hot, 45 °C (113 °F) - And HUMID too!, but I still needed to head out and explore.
Boat ride - 1 AED ($0.27)
Lemon juice - 5 AED ($1.36)
Dubai Spice Souk - One of the best places to explore in Dubai is Deira, which is old Dubai, and the Dubai spice souk (market). The market is great to walk around and you’ll find spices galore.
Bu Qtair - When I asked you where I should eat in Dubai, Bu Qtair restaurant was one of the top recommendations. It’s a fish fry restaurant, where you order a whole fish and they deep fry the entire thing. It used to be a street food restaurant, but they now have an indoor restaurant, but the food is still amazing.
Total price - 170 AED ($46.27) for everything

For all those people complaining about how he overreacts after tasting any food in the world, if you have been watching him for a while you'll understand from his expressions whether he genuinely likes it or not eventhough he praise all of them. He is just being polite. He is a famous youtuber and has great influence on people all over the world. He is a full time youtuber and makes a living out of his videos. Why everytime I watch a Mark Wiens vlog I find myself in the kitchen afterwards or ordering take out of some kind....this dude got me eating late as hell binge watching his stuff too...

I come up with a game while watching your videos, cause I notice that you basically do three reactions after every bite: 1. Eyes open with nods and ‘hmmm’ 2. Eyes close and slightly fall to your right 3. Eyes close then laugh with the ultimate joy. So the game is to guess which reaction you would do with that food, it’s pretty fun to play. Mark you have been to all my favourite restaurants and I was a regularly customer to both the restaurant when I was in Dubai back in 2000 it took me back to my memory lane, rightly said the food in both the restaurants is mouth watering and your review and comments are spot on. I miss the soup you have had at the Iranian restaurant and Bu Qtair fried fish and paratha. :)
I wish i can visit Dubai one day instead of just stopping at the airport, haha. Thank you for bringing the experience to us, Mark!

Great video. The food looks delicious, especially the kebabs. I was in the UAE for 12 years from 1977 to 1990. The best fish by far was hammour. The next time you eat fish have it with tahini and wash it down with Lebanese Arak.
