I asked my ex-neurologist about mercury in fish as I have MS and they recommend a lot of Omaga 3. He said fish from the Pacific near Asia tends to have much more but fish from the North Atlantic is pretty clean. I try to go for fish like wild salmon, cod, mackerel & herring.

I can believe 4 & 5 being detrimental but the first 3...omg. not enough conclusive evidence for the plants giving cancer being in pesticides (and we need tens of thousands to get cancer, not just a simple 1.000 people). countries like US, China, and several others usually have pesticides in their plants and they eat them all the time. BTW, f white chocolate. I could care less.

Yup I moved back to my little Mexican/Spanish village and everything I buy comes from local farmers. My neighbor has a goat farm, Buy my eggs from a family in my little village, The veggies I eat Like Squash,Tomatoes,Spinach, cucumbers ,carrots and Beans all grow here easily and quickly by me and other local farmers from my village and if I ever want to eat meat I buy local chickens or buy rabbits from my cousin. I dont eat meat often though.

Just so you have a better understanding, obesity isnt always because of diet. It can be hereditary, it can be a medical issue like thyroid or low body metabolism. A better diet can help to an certain extent but isn't always the solution for people where overeating isn't the issue. I've personally dated plenty of big women that didn't over eat at all.

Do not confuse organic with just doing nothing while growing food. Organic food is weeded to keep weeds from taking nutrients from our crop and it is fertilized with properly composted material and carefully watered, because growing organic food requires considerable thought and time. Best bet is to grow your own if you have space.
