i went in to 4 stars latin restaurants in USA 4 stars asian, american, italian,french restaurants ,but nothing compare with Peruvian food , the diverse of flavors, from different region Peru-Lima always was the capital of "ceviche " for the last 70 years..i was surprise when mexican took ceviche as mexican food in USA fro the last 15 years.

I'm from Perú and I used to live in Florida, I have tried different Peruvian restaurants in Miami, but nothing compares like the ones in New Jersey ( if u don't have the budget to go to Perú) there's many to choose and all good is like they trying to compete each other probably bc there's a big Peruvian community there. I'm a Peruvian in Miami. And I've been to NJ, reverse roles haha. I really do like the food here though. Miami imo is truly a boiling pot of Latin cuisine, including Peruvian food. But the ingredients are certainly different from Peru itself and therefore improvised with other ingredients to an extent. Still delicious though

What surprised me the most was how widespread the credit cards are accepted in Perú as compared to Germany. I couldn't believe seeing four card readers at most cashiers (one for MasterCard, one for Visa, one for American Express, and one for Diners Club, etc.).

Lima is amazing - one of the best food cities around! We really loved our stay in Barranco. We also went to Isolina - great dishes there with a huge menu! The cau cau was tasty - loved the mint in there, too.

Another fabulous food tour. I loved everything you tried... well, except the cow stomach and blood sausage. I've had British friends try to talk me into the blood sausage, and it's just a no-go. But those scallops... and the beef con arroz y frijoles... I'm all about that. Muy deliciosa.

I love you guys and I'm grateful that you're going on these adventures. They allow me to enjoy sights and experiences I can't really afford to do. I feel like I'm included. Traveling the world has been my lifelong dream but I don't have the resources. Thanks to you guys it's like I'm doing it!
