He's got a great voice, his side project Chris Shiflett & The Dead Peasants, he sings the lead vocals and he sounds fantastic

This tune just explodes with power

They just so fucking deserve it to be so huge. The BEST rockband the 21st century has seen so far. I just hope the Foos will be around for many years to come. Don't know what we'd do without them...

One of the most solid bands around today. We need more of this and less of the poison , complete garbage that .. well you can’t call them bands they’re producing today. Everything on a loop and made electronically. Half of the shit the band doesn’t even see each other while making a record your drums will be sent to you by email , bass line etc... I hate how all the music is dying one by one as each one of our real musicians dies. We still have the great music they made but it ends when they do and that’s sad and fucked. We need real music again. Where did buying a CD and looking at the cover art and reading inside of it, the smell of the paper and you’re actually holding the music in your hand and the more it means to you the better you took care of it. I wish that it would go back to when cds were $30 it was more real and more excitement. Everything in general is basically fucked. Who would have thought that something that speaks to the soul would get just as fucked. Hopefully some good shit happens soon or it’s over. All we have is what was made years ago and if we are lucky a band such as this will be here and continue for as long as possible creating new music. They had the heart of how hard it was to make it , true artist. Now you can rub your foot on a mic and a bunch of clowns think it’s great. I hope it changes back to the better. Who gives a fuck if you have to pay for the music .. if you went to work... because yeah it’s what they do for a living and all of a sudden you are working for free or some how getting fucked and you put 100% into it. Then dick lick with the mic and foot somehow blows you out of the water. Completely fucked things have to change. Soon we will be without new good music because all these guys have to go sometime.

This is a great song. Bit unknown but one of the best. Alot of bands put swearing in their songs just because they can but this is one song that needs it. You can really hear the anger and upset in his voice in the THE'RE JUST FUCKIN WORDS! Seems like he really ment it.

Yeah, the thing is... Them Crooked Vultures may feature members from my two favorite bands (Foo and Led). But's it's not Foo and Led. Dave Grohl is not the Foo Fighters. He's just 25 percent of it. The Foo's songs have that sort of unity that not many bands can reach. Each member was chill with where they were and they got closer and closer. And Hawkins and Smear are awesome!!!
