Waiting On A War
I've been waiting on a war since I was young
Since I was a little boy with a toy gun
Never really wanted to be number one
Just wanted to love everyone
Is there more to this than that?
Is there more to this than that?
Is there more to this than that?
Is there more to this than
Just waiting on a war?
Everyday waiting for the sky to fall
Big crash on a world that's so small
Just a boy with nowhere left to go
Fell in love with a voice on the radio
Is there more to this than that?
Is there more to this than that?
Is there more to this than that?
Is there more to this than
Just waiting on a war?
Just waiting on a war for this and that
There's got to be more to this than that
Just waiting on a war for this and that
There's got to be more to this than that
I've been waiting on a war since I was young
Since I was a little boy with a toy gun
Is there more to this than just waiting on a war?
Just waiting on a war for this and that
There's got to be more to this than that
Just waiting on a war for this and that
There's got to be more to this than that
Just waiting on a war for this and that
There's got to be more to this than that
Just waiting on a war for this and that
There's got to be more to this than that
Because I need more
Yeah, I need more
Than just waiting on a war

It's outstanding the way the drumms get into the end of the song, and suddendly, it stops. Impossible not to cry. Thank you for everything, Taylor.

Dave Grohl : “Last fall, as I was driving my daughter to school, she turned to me and asked, ‘Daddy, is there going to be a war?’ My heart sank as I realized that she was now living under the same dark cloud that I had felt 40 years ago. Every day waiting for the sky to fall. Is there more to this than that? Is there more to this than just waiting on a war? Because I need more. We all do. This song was written for my daughter, Harper, who deserves a future, just as every child does.”

@@daveydudely9954 maybe if you got your news from someone other than a late night talk show host or buzzfeed, you'd know that Trump ended the 19 year war with the Taliban and Afghanistan (the war that Biden voted for) and pulled most of our troops from the areas with the treaty stating that all troops will be withdrawn by April 2021. However, Biden still wants troops left there so he will probably mess up that deal. Trump also negotiated the denuclearization and peace treaty with North Korea. Trump has reduced the number of American soldiers overseas by more than half vs when Biden was VP and the amount of military spending also reduced by more than half under Trump vs Obama. Biden isn't even president yet and he's already stock piling his cabinets with pro war hawks that served under Obama. These are the same people that intervened in Libya, the ongoing Afghanistan war, the war in Yemen, Honduras....etc. Oh, but now that Trump is out and the person who has been in politics and actively supported war efforts and foreign military involvements since 1971 is in, we have no war to fear... 👏

I had much respect for foo fighters since their debut album. I have strong principles though. Whatever it’s usually useless trying to talk sense and logic to anyone these days. Any band that’s pushing people to get vaxxed to see them is part of the agenda. It’s disgusting. Keep staying in that bubble of media brainwashing I guess if you want. It’s all bs.

Then, if I'm correct, this song comes before "medicine at midnight" that one must be a next level banger since the only time FF did an album with a song with the same name was concrete and gold. And next to that one you have no son of mine for reference. Things sould escalete a lot from 3:51. That line got me too and he is talking about what is happening right now. I watch school children line up like prisoners and they go outside for gym class with masks on and wear them outside. The teacher makes sure they do not run or jump. They stand in line and systematically throw a ball one time. That's it. That is all they are allowed to do. They can not have kids running around with those masks on because they will pass out. The hospital for Sick Children even spoke out against our kids wearing mask. It gets worse for teh older kids here in Canada. They can not date. The can not hang out with each other because they must only stay within contact of their family bubble. It's been one year now in Toronto. My son can not hold his wedding. My other son can not even meet a girl or other young people his age. He must only see his own family by law. It gets worse. Our loved ones are drying alone. We are not allowed to visit people in the hospital any more. People fought this and went to the human rights commission. We were granted one visit by one person every other day and it doesn't matter if t he person has 2 days left to live only one day will a visit be allowed. We are in serious trouble and it's getting worse and it will get much worse.

Jinning up WW3 NWO Globalists. This is not a good plan at all. Sending military weapons, missiles & war planes. Horrifying. Horrible leadership & recklessness, provoking actions toward Putin & Russia. NATO, Biden Admin & Zelensky, EU, UN, Corp sector, World Central Bank & Media have failed to act to deescalate this dangerous situation with Putin a major Nuclear threat to all. Russian experts have warned about this for decades. Biden Admin, NATO & Zelensky have failed to honor agreements made by NATO after WW2, Berlin Wall conditions, not moving NATO 'one inch' toward Russia. Putin has been incredibly patient the last 3 decades & especially the last two years. Ukraine is not suppose to join NATO . Members of NATO are sold military weapons that Russians & NATO consider the reverse of the Cuba Missile crisis. Putin will NOT accept anything less than Ukraine not joining NATO, no military missiles, military planes or military weapons or military bases in Ukraine. Sanctions removed. Since when do we close bank accounts, seize property of millionaires, billionaires, try to cancel a Foreign Leader, his citizens & Country? Why haven't we done so with CCP China over Wuhan Lab leak Pandemic & Global damages???? Their genocide of Muslim Ugyghurs? I definitely do not support NATO, Biden & his reckless Admin sending weapons, missiles, ammo, military war planes & billions in Foreign Aid to Ukraine. US has its own problems, homeless & Biden's Southern Border Crisis to resolve!!! You are cheering on WW3. Defending the 9th most corrupt Country & funding literal NeoNazis that murder Russian spreading citizens in grey zone, breaking of NATO previous commitments & agreements with Russia. Biden, his Admin & Dems are solely responsible for giving Putin & Russia Americans Energy Independence, American jobs & energy exports. We were the leading clean Energy manufacturers & exporters ever under President Trump & his successful domestic & foreign policies. Biden Admin, Dems, Progressives want citizens to pay higher gas, oil & energy costs. They don't care about poor & Middle class Americans costs, budgets or impact on goods. They don't. Stop voting in bad leadership & policies. Build Back Broke, The Great Reset NWO Agendas, Agenda 2030grifts, climate hysteria, bad policies & net zero insanity.
