Can't believe this was 8 year's ago. I worked at this festival, with the idea being to get some extra cash. Plus see Foo Fighters LIVE! Long story short slept in a field in a shitty tent for days, got abuse from thousands of festival goers, had aching feet & legs from working long hours for short money. HOWEVER come Sunday evening none of that mattered as I trudged through inches of mud up to see Foo Fighters LIVE in to this day probably the best gig I've ever been too. Foo were amazing. They were electric! Great memories. Sidenote, my wife just got me tickets for Foo Fighters in August for my birthday! Can't wait :)

The songwriting is awesome. The delivery is great. No gimmicks. Just badass. Schiflit, Smear, and Grohl give the band some serious credibility, but the term supergroup is not so fitting for Foo. Unless you meant they are super, than sure.

The energy these guys pump out for their fans is second to none. They probably love playing live as much as fans love watching. Looks like they are having the time of their life every night on stage.

Lol... you're dreaming bro. Foofighters are a good band but not better than the ones I named. Dave grohl's vocals are no where near eddie vedders, or chris cornell his guitar work is nothing special let alone what the chilli peppers or audioslave have been putting out. Good band but not better

Joe Faith I've seen Pearl Jam and they are statues on stage. Foo straight rocks the house down every time. PJ plays one tired version after another, Vedder occasionally opines in a strange mumbling voice in-between chugs of wine, and then another tired song… Cornell is one of the best, no way clear to an argument here…Vedder though? He either shrieks, yodels, or does a weird monotone voice. Matt Cameron is nowhere near the drummer Taylor Hawkins is, and Foo continues to put out amazing records. ear of the beholder suppose ;)

I checked PJ in Chicago & they were fucking amazing. Dave Grohl is a drummer and his voice sucks it is nowhere near frontman material in terms of range or depth/tone. You want to talk about voice shreaking how about that torture they call a song 'best of you' compare pearl jams first record ten with foo fighters. But like you said ear of the beholder, to each his own;)

the Foo Fighter helped me this year ive listened to there music this year has been hell and listening to Dave and Foo Fighters has helped me so much i thank you and love this Band soooo much and i miss Taylor thank you for shineing your light on us rest in peace

This has to be one of the best live performances I have ever seen, and I still can't believe I've not seen Foo Fighters yet... definitely go see them next time they come back to Scotland!

Before I watched this.. I liked the Foo Fighters.... and would maybe see them in concert. Seeing the show that they put on.... I now LOVE them and can't wait to see them live. I love this video. You can really tell that they love their fans. :)

Finally got to realize my dream of seeing the Foo Fighters at Jazzfest in Louisiana this year. One of the most energetic and amazing performances I've ever been witness to. It's like you can feel Dave's love for his fans just soaring out from the stage.

You certainly get your monies worth watching the Foo's - I am so glad we stil have youtube to keep watching - I will miss Taylor for as long as I live - he was simply the best drummer ever - Taylor Hawkins you had some badass energy x

This band is my fuckin family... thats it... all that needs to be said.. LOVE THE KILTS.!!!!

When pat left the band was already successful...I am so happy to see him performing for the band. By the way this live is one of the most powerful mindblowing one I have ever seen both live and recorded. Dave is so commited, he is the real rock star. I respect him.

I was at this festival. Waited the whole day for the Foo's. Saw some decent bands beforehand. But it was a great show. Did Taylor ever not have a smile on his face? Always looked such a happy dude.

I believe that somewhere in the world, there are people who feel the same emotions that I feel when I listen to masterpieces like this song.

Not a huge Foo Fighters fan...but must admit this is an amazing concert for fans and the band!!

Thank god there is still real music in this world. Thank you Dave Grohl for representing everything that music should be.

Saw this tour when they were in OZ. Tenacious D Support such a good concert still remains one of my happiest memories to date. Grohl is an amazing front man and a machine he does not stop.

love seeing how active Dave is on stage,when i saw him last Sept ,here in vancouver canada,he was on the "broken leg"tour,lol,was so fanfrickintabulous!!and unique cause of his designed chair,will never be done again!!feelin very fortunate!!love Foos!!!

They have their bad gigs like every band does but their musicianship live makes for an excellent show! The way they make up interludes and shit right in the middle of songs on the spot is really impressive instead of just rushing through songs and ending after the hour mark, makes you think they still really love doing what they do
