My son saved me the day he came alive. I was on a downward spiral until the day he was born. My purpose in life changed. I took him to a Foo Fighters gig when he was only 8 year old. Every-time I hear this song I well up thinking of day he came to life and saved me. Foo Fighters forever. RIP Taylor ✌️

This is the only live version I can find and I just wanna tell Dave that for 13yrs Come Alive has been in my soul. I have it tatted on my left shoulder and though the tat has faded some, my love for this song has not. I wore out Echoes Silence Patience and Grace when the album came out, to me it’s their magnum opus and Come Alive its crowning jewel. Thank you Dave, Nate, Taylor, Chris and Pat! I love you all

The first time I listened to this album, I heard this song and simply looked over it. As I listened to the album more, I heard more things about this song that I liked, and then it hit me how brilliant and amazing this song is. It is the epitome of who the Foo Fighters have become as a group. One word that describes the success and brilliance of this album, and song: progression. Absolutely amazing. I am so glad I didn't not rate this song based only on my first impression.

This song masterfully crescendos from a gentle acoustic ballad to a hard, driving passionate climax! I think it is absolutely brilliant. Sometime I get goose pimples and a rush when I listen to it. It certainly does "Come Alive!"
