My son saved me the day he came alive. I was on a downward spiral until the day he was born. My purpose in life changed. I took him to a Foo Fighters gig when he was only 8 year old. Every-time I hear this song I well up thinking of day he came to life and saved me. Foo Fighters forever. RIP Taylor ✌️

My wife walked down the isle to this song and I bawl my eyes out every time I hear it

I still can't believe Taylor is dead

This is the only live version I can find and I just wanna tell Dave that for 13yrs Come Alive has been in my soul. I have it tatted on my left shoulder and though the tat has faded some, my love for this song has not. I wore out Echoes Silence Patience and Grace when the album came out, to me it’s their magnum opus and Come Alive its crowning jewel. Thank you Dave, Nate, Taylor, Chris and Pat! I love you all

I like all there songs and I love how this is acoustic I love that rift at the beginning. I would love to go to a foo fighters show or someday as a musician I think it would be awesome to be on stage and perform with my rock hero Dave Grohl.

He wrote this about the birth of his daughter and what it meant to him....One of the greatest love song's I have ever heard.... Wow... Just... Wow...And as a Believer in Christ, I cannot help but hear this as a song As a celebration of an Eternal Love seen in His Resurrection from the grave; a remarkable Easter song indeed.

I love this song so much, the build up makes my heart pound and when it hits the climax I just want to go nuts! Fantastic song!

It’s absolutely beautiful! Made even more poignant now that Taylor has passed. I wish he would come alive 😭😭💔💔

The first time I listened to this album, I heard this song and simply looked over it. As I listened to the album more, I heard more things about this song that I liked, and then it hit me how brilliant and amazing this song is. It is the epitome of who the Foo Fighters have become as a group. One word that describes the success and brilliance of this album, and song: progression. Absolutely amazing. I am so glad I didn't not rate this song based only on my first impression.

If you ever lost someone in your life this song can take a hold of you and haunt your soul. It throws me into a spiral of sorrow and emptiness. I love the song and I'm glad I heard it, but there are times that I wish I never had.

Ya know, I think true fans are the people that listen every song on all the albums, not the ones that jump around and go crazy to a song. I do love this song though, I was glad they put it in the Warren Miller "Children of the Winter" movie, it went really well with the scene it was in :D

It just amazes me all the incredible music that’s been created over the last 40 years. I don’t see how this period in history can ever be topped! The talent and creative just is incredible!

In my humble opinion, one of the best songs EVER written.

This song masterfully crescendos from a gentle acoustic ballad to a hard, driving passionate climax! I think it is absolutely brilliant. Sometime I get goose pimples and a rush when I listen to it. It certainly does "Come Alive!"
