FONI PAHLAVAN

Фильм және анимация

10 years on from the Physical Body DVD by Vincent Giordana www.createspace.com/207195,
Pahalavn Foni still trains hard. This is his preparation for the Nag Panchemi festival competitions. He was kind enough to demonstrate his techniques for me so I could share them with you.
Enjoy!

Gada lifter from Canada here. I can honestly say there is no one out here that's moving weight anywhere near that heavy. I swing a 25kg and haven't seen many people even able to do that. I am so impressed by this man. True inspiration *edit/update* alright I'm back 3 years later, up to 35kg myself but there's still no one near 50kg 😂*

Macebells are easier than swinging gada since macebells have weight distribution uniformity, the gada has all the weight in the mace

Foni Pahlavan has my utmost respect. All the old-timers and their students have my utmost respect.(We found out about your book after looking for a book about Hojo Undo. I have to thank you, the Gada is closer to what we were aiming for than the Chiishi in terms of weight and handle length specs. It is hard not to fall in love with such a physical culture.)~Physical Activity Nai Bhairavi Prakriti
