Nah cus personally if my kid ever wanted skin care before turning a teenager, I'd be worried, media pushes kids that get younger and younger to buy expensive skincare, I saw a video recently that shows 9 year olds Christmas lists for 2023 and all of it was skincare products, tiktok and Instagram etc are making young girls really insecure about their skin even though they're already pretty. I feel bad for them being manipulated into buying skincare when their skin and face don't need it and it can be too harsh, face wash and maybe a moisturizer are fine, but they don't need all of these expensive cleansers and oils etc

this is my skincare routine now at 17, but my routine at 10 was putting the color from my lollipop on my lips and thinking i was so cool.

The lollipop lip thing is universal.

As a 13yr old who has a 10yr old sister I’ve always told her to not use excessive amounts or products in her skincare. Me and her both started acne at 9 and we have almost the same routine 😅 we both use ceraVe hydrating cleanser, I use drunk elephant B-hydra serum and she uses the ordinary one, and then we both use CeraVe moisturizer. I swear though, SOME kids (not all) have been influenced so much by TikTok and are ruining their skin. The other day I saw a 7 year old with foundation, concealer, bronzer, blush, etc. on. They said they were doing that too “cover up the wrinkles”. And if I’m being serious it’s kinda f***ed up.

as a 12 year old who had oily skin and breakouts, my skincare routine is: cerave cleanser dew drops simple moisturiser (face masks once a week) it’s helped my face sm! I have muchh clearer skin now

Is no one talking about how this is a 10 year olds routine? Of course I don’t care what there do to there skin because it’s not my problem. But instead of helping them it’s hurting them, their skin and their parents money. Half of these stuff is formulated for mature skin and sometimes it could damage the skin barrier at a young age.

I didn't know what any of this stuff was at 10 let alone that it existed. The most i knew about was my moms eyeshadow and lipstick that i got into.

She's 10, she doesn't need a skincare routine. She needs a face wash, sunscreen, chapstick and maybe a plain moisturizer. It's getting ridiculous. These children see adults on tik tok using these products so of course they must have them but their skin doesn't need it, they don't know what the products actually are or do and they don't know how to properly use them. Their parents need to learn to say no.

If I had to swap skincare routines with the same ten year old and I was about to go to sleep I would also not use the Drunk Elephant bronzing drops

I'm ten yrs old and this is my skincare routine: first I wash my face with the Bubble fresh start gel cleanser, then I moisturize my face with the Bubble moisturizer, then the yellow bubble serum, (it's so GOOD) then the orange ed serum from Bubble, (it's also so GOOD) lastly I go with some plain ol' vaseline!!! that's it by P.S. I absolutely LOVE ur channel.............UBSESSEDDDDDDD!!
