Followership: Values Based Leadership (pt 1)

By Dr. Curtis G. Windham, Ed.D., (2021, December 1)
Values-based leadership is primarily based on understanding how to identify the unique values in every follower, while working to reach the same goal within the organization or department. Flipping this concept allows leadership to not only focus on moving all followers to the same end goal, but also embracing the uniqueness of each follower, which will allow leadership to utilize each followers unique skills and diversity. While the goal of leaders is to reach the stated goal, it is also to grow the follower to reach their potential.
