The teacher should have been reported. That's an ethics violation.

Teacher here. Most teacher contracts have a morals clause, even in public schools. I know people who have been canned for less.

If it was me i wouldnt have been able to stop myself from sending the text messages to the teacher's supervisor and possibly a few other people at the school so they know what kind of teacher she is

I think she is a very wise woman for NOT Reporting that teacher. Her daughter still goes to that school and sure as hell gossip like that would be shared very fast. You do not want that to be following your child for god knows how long, she doesn’t need to know that her daddy is POS just yet or be bullied and made fun of

I really have to disagree on this one. I would have reported her in a heartbeat! The father is a POS, yes, but so is the teacher - not to mention she definitely violated the morals clause in her contract!
