    I just realized how smart it was moving his king to your side in the end! He knows he is losing and you get queens, but because the kings don't see farther than one square and can capture themselves he hoped you make an unfortunate king move and lose through that. Tricky Gotham there

    @@Freakinawesome333 He must have a general idea because the castling sound is heard in fog of war and Gotham knew that Eric's king wasn't on Queen Side because of the Rook trade on B file. Levy's pawn push on King Side was very intentional, he wanted to trick Eric's king into taking a pawn or trap him using his Knight and Bishop. So after he lost all his pieces, he knew Eric would promote Queen Side pawns, so he started a journey to meet the other king on the other side of the board.

  • @RSFArocks

    @@Freakinawesome333 Nah, Levy did know what it was because Eric's king was blocking his pawn from advancing, and because pawns can't move sideways and the bishop captured his bishop on the other side of the board, there's no other piece that could have been there.

    Knights are actually really good in Fog of War because the queen can see a bishop, a rook, a king, and a pawn if any of those pieces are attacking it. However, the knight can attack the queen without it knowing to take or move out of the way.

  • @DaTimmeh

    @DaTimmeh

    Жыл бұрын

    Yes, but it goes both ways, the knight only sees if it’s attacked by another knight. Otherwise they’re entirely reliant on the other pieces. Try to use them early, while there’s still decent vision of the board, then probably trade em sooner rather than later.

    I think in this game it's important to pick up as much information as possible from the little changes in the fog. Like if after the opponent's move some square becomes visible or invisible for your pawn. Seems a square is visible if you can legally put something there and pawns have these unique move rules so they see the square in front only if there's no piece there, but they see the two squares diagonally from it only if there is a piece there. After a move from the opponent, you may not see what happened exactly, but the fog may change and you can still guess something from that often.

    @@joeymurdazalotmore6355 I’m not reading all that, my friend. It’s funny you assume I’ve grown accustomed to feminine or whatever you even said, since I would disagree, but I digress. Point is, Levy is a grown man and he certainly doesn’t sound like any tween girl, I would know that from being around my family and and plenty of younger children at school. If someone so petty like you found a woman and has children I guess I have nothing to be so afraid of. :) Anyways I just finished your little rant on feminine and masculine qualities and it was quite entertaining. I guess I agree levy sounds particularly whiny in this clip but that’s just him putting on his persona for his audience of stupid gen Z kids. I’m aware that you probably classify me as one of them, but I can assure you I’m not as stupid or sheeplike as my peers. I’m really into self improvement and becoming stronger as well as chess, so I suppose we could relate on that scale.

    Bragging about getting beat up as a kid is hilarious. You seem to have picked up some brain damage as a result, judging by how that wall of non-sensical run-on sentences. I pray for your daughters to not follow in your footsteps lmfao

    Joey, I think you need to get a life. Writing a seven page essay on why you hate levy and men that aren't jacked and low pitched isn't a productive use of your time

    Toxicity is a lot more harmful than we give it credit for. Being friend with such people is just irresponsible. If you care at all. Sorry, I had to say this. Delete if you want, but maybe you can give it some thought in secret.

    @@ieaatclams I watch levy quite regularly mostly for entertainment but also some instructional videos. He’s both funny and also just fun to watch in general because of his style. If you don’t like him fine but there’s no point in flooding hate in eric’s comments section

    @@shulmpino5505Levy is literally just complaining in the beginning portion of his video. That's just obnoxious. Not saying he's painful, but he's painful in his part in this video.
