Ive heard them all in person. I have the borla atak and its the better sounding of the 3.

I loved my magnaflow on my WRX and my Borla on my old STi. Now both sounded great on the rs but In the end I picked Borla on the rs ftw!

I completely agree.

The magnaflow sounds very nice. And those 4.5" tips geezzzz. Though I hear the mountune and ets exhausts are insane for this car. Those two are probably louder than all 3 here

@@carlostorres3104 Certainly less raunchy. And for a daily driver I think its my favorite out of the 3 clips here. But I think part of the problem is the Sound recording is crappy. The levels are too high and its clipping. I really wish they used a better baffled mic to record the clips.

Borla (but I'm biased). I put a Borla S-Type on my 2017 GTI, and it's amazing--and just right. Zero drone, and can be incognito around the neighborhood if I drive it easy. When I even begin to step on it, though, it's a gorgeous exhaust note and quite bassy in the car. Can sound downright mean AF (I drive a DSG in manual mode exclusively), so holding revs makes it sound like a cornered beast. NOTE: The Borla negated the resonator, so it went from a larger muffler plus a resonator to a smaller muffler and no reso.

So oem is actually pretty decent. Excellent video. Thanks for taking the time to make it.

they all sound good but I guess my favorite would have to be the MBRP with my second pick the Borla... such a difficult decision though... I had to listen to the video over and over again with headphones... all three are just amazing!

I listened thru headphones several times. MBRP tone was raspy. Borla was annoyingly loud with higher poppy tones. Magna were deeper throaty tones and a bit loud.

The audio at 1:08 is recorded from inside the car as is very apparent from the fake engine noise from the speakers. This is very misleading as to what the exhaust actually sounds like with the car driving by from an outside perspective as the video shows.

No, the RS has its own specific exhaust. CJs offers the same brands through for a 2014 ST.
