Thank you for your honest and well presented review. I just purchased the Bathys and will open up the box in a minute. A pet peeve of mine is to watch a video on KZread and have the video presented in Portrait mode instead of Landscape mode. From where I am standing it looks like I am viewing the video through slits or through a window. It makes you look boxed in and distant. I am guessing that you also show this video on another social media platform and this is the reason for the Portrait mode. But it is distracting and takes away from the video when done on KZread. Please consider doing your next videos in Landscape mode. Waving the hand from the Boogie Ooggie Bronx.

Great video! I agree, these are a great pair of headphones, especially in DAC mode. The clarity is great, bass is not over done, there are pretty comfortable. We can see you really hate the lights, 😂. I agree, there is no reason for the lighting logo! It drains battery faster.

Welcome back! Its very noticeable im not a fan of the light on the logo. But everything else is good for me haha. DAC mode is amazing and the comfort they bring makes them worth every penny.

I just got some b&o h95 for a steal! Used for $150 in awesome shape. If you get a chance, get your hands on a set. Thier weakness is their anc and transparency is so-so, and their volume doesn't get crazy loud. But I just use them at home so I turn anc off and the volume is plenty loud. They sound amazing in the mids, highs and bass. Great separation and soundstage. Very good detail in a luxury package.

@LetsTalkHeadphones I got them used on facebook marketplace from an elderly retired man who said they didn't fit well over his hearing aids. I thought it was a scam but they showed up in great shape and in 100% working order. I also got some B&O Portals new for $100. They are very good as well but the h95 does everything a bit better. I had b&w px7 s2 and sold them to my boss after receiving the h95 a couple of weeks ago.

Thanks for the review. I wear glasses as well. Headphones that fit properly are hard to find. Mine should be here tomorrow. Hopefully I have a similar experience.

Welcome! Thanks for watching my video! As you can see, i have glasses that have thick curve legs on them and even with that, the Bathys fit perfectly well and dont put pressure. Honestly, these are the only ones i can use if i have my glasses on. Im sure you will have the same experience. Let me know how they fit for you.

Welcome to my channel! The Sennheiser Momentum 4 have great sound and better ANC and if im not mistaken 60hrs of battery life for half the price. The app gives you a lot more too. So i would definitely recommend those mainly if you want better ANC. Also the B&W PX7S2 have amazing sound better ANC for half the price also.

Got them new for 408!

Welcome! Thanks for watching my review video. My #1 overall is my Mark Levinson 5909. The main reason is the sound quality. Vocals are very clear. They are $1,000 headphones so build quality is great also.

@@LetsTalkHeadphonesyeah I do agree there. I haven’t heard the Mark Levinson 5909 but compared to my Hifiman’s the BAthys definitely have a more sucked out vocal range which makes them get a little quiet in some songs.

This or Mark Levinson No. 5909 for bass music and watching movies

Welcome and thanks for watching! Hmmm, the Focal Bathys should be the ones for you then. With the 5909 there is more clarity in the vocals. But if you have smaller ears, i suggest Master and Dynamic MW75. Those are bass heavy headphones with great sound and great build. And a little bit cheaper too.

If you're looking for the best bass and primarily using them for movies and have the budget for them I would probably say the B&O H95 are the ones to get. Out of most of the bluetooth offerings out there these have the deepest bass and sub-bass response. My personal favorites overall are the ML 5909 just cause they have the clearest and most balanced sound but I haven't found bass as deep on a bluetooth headphone as I have on the H95

@MrJ.31 Welcome! Thanks for watching my video! I dont have the H95. At the time i made a choice and i got the ML 5909.... but your take on the ML is very accurate. Eventually i will get the H95 or newer model depending what comes first at the time.
