I love you, Lidia! Great memories watching you at home on PBS with my Mother and family and extended family. The little girl next door (now a college grad), once proclaimed about you, "She's a Chef!"

My grandparents are from Filito, Italy and I only have a couple recipes given to me by my uncle.....I love your recipes as they remind me of what my grandma would've cooked for her family....Thank you so much for bringing some Italian into my kitchen..Teresa

I love the brush Lidia uses to oil the glass bowl but those are hell to keep clean and sanitary. I've found that oil works its way up the bristles and remains there, where soap doesn't get to it, and then goes rancid. Silicone brushes are not nearly as good as fine bristles are, but a lot easier to thoroughly clean of residual oil.

You mean what does focaccia mean? It's just the name of the recipe!

As an Italian the focaccia dough should be lubricated with water and olive oil before baking. But for an italoamerican sounds good

Che farina usi Lidia? La mia pizza e focaccia si ritirano. Servirebbero 3 persone a tenerlo. Hahahah. Just saying folks that when I make pizza and focaccia it need 3 people to hold it as it springs back. Lol
