Gel 1st then foam as the topper. Foam makes the gel dry faster and smooths out frizz. A styling foam has more hold than a volumizing foam. But foam overall gives a fluffier result.

I'm in my bathroom ready to try and not sure to use the foam or gel first? Think I'm going to try it on top on one side and mousse on 1st on the next to see what I get! At least I will know which to go with next time!

Yes! Foam/Mousse is a great quick wash and go for me in the summer time. I usually use the Aussie foam. ❤️

I’ve actually been thinking about getting a foam/mousse to try again. When I did my Big Chop the Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus mousse was my go-to with the Curl Enhancing Smoothie. I hadn’t gotten into gels yet back then. But, I may try it again.

Your hair looks bomb for it being with foam and gel, I hardly get three good days with my wash & go with gel and cream

When I do the combo I have to put an cream underneath or else it’ll get dry quicker but yeah my roots are also really tangled by the end of the week. I‘ll try your suggestion and put the gel on first and see how that goes.

That's how I do my hair I use a foam and gel. But you have to still use some type of cream/conditioner as base. Then the foam and then a gel. I use mix chick mouse or creme of nature foam which is cheaper than mix chicks. Both are meant for curls. Anyway my hair last for days and has never turned out the way yours did in the end. I've been doing this for the past 2 or 3 years and my wash and go always turn out bomb.

Hey friend, your hair looks nice!!! I use foams for my 2 strand twist with a little gel often! I have several foams that my hair likes, Nairobi, Mousse Def by The Doux, Silk Elements and ApHogee Mousse --Mousse Def does the best but I have to put a good mositurizer underneath.

The foam is definitely best as a “topper” lol. I usually use foam as my last step in my wash and gos. Btw thank you for putting me on to the kinky curly leave in. Its soooo good

Soooo I been trying to find the moisture in the Afrosheen products and I'm still looking 👀👀 I love the results I get with the cream and gel but I feel like I need to add a thick leave in or something because my hair be popping but not moisturized. I have tried the foam yet. HOWEVER!!! I did just use the Texture ID foam with that wetline gel for a rod set and my hair is not dry dry and I got some good results. As I was styling I was like hmmm this would be dope for a wash and go 🤔 thanks for taking one for the team fren 👏🏽 sorry it had to end like this though 🙈

Apply your gel how you normally do and ass the form on top. I do my wash & goes like that. I use uncle funky daughter gel & add my ouidad form on top or I use my Camille Rose curl marker & add the foam on top. Give that a shot me go time. Love your content!

When she started the “Afro sheen extreme” she was giving me keke Palmer vibes

(Not sure if this will matter, I don’t usually comment😅) but I love that method for my wash and go’s but I use the eco flaxseed gel first, and then use the Cantu foam. I also try to semi dry each section with a blow dryer, but it worked super well, Nd it did last me at least two week🤷🏾‍♀️, I love the video Nd can’t wait until the next one😊

Kim, I cut most of the last of the processed hair out of my head. So 2/3 are completely natural. Only the front third still has the processed hair, that’s just because I’m afraid I won’t be able to do a ponytail.
