Security cameras for the win! I forgot to comment the first time I watched this but had to watch again. Dropping those expensive and really great foam production foam canons hurt me too, especially as I can't afford them and would try to fix the pieces for myself to use. Lol

Funny thing is most that survived I don’t like using so has to Frankenstein something together in order to film the next video. Too many people were debating clean bottles vs HDPE and figured somebody had to prove it out. Thanks for watching!

Probably want a very high drop then. I also think they are probably more durable out of the box. Once they been through a few hot/cold cycles and some chemicals I think they get weaker.

Yeah, it wasn’t cheap, but they were all review products anyway so I never used them again except a few of them. I usually just give them away to family members or friends. I think we test at 88mph and see if they go back in time and Doc Brown finds it. Maybe our pressure washer technology will get a 70 year boost and we get $100 Mr Fusion pressure washers that do 10GPM. 🤣

Your reactions when just dropping the full ones from shoulder height on the earlier drops was the best part. Nearer to the end, you got more and more brave. 😂😂 Yes the clear plastic is “weaker” but there’s always a price to pay for vanity. LOL

Thanks Keav I got a mjjc v3 and on the 3rd time using it, I accidentally dropped and the manifold broke just like in your vid, luckily I was able to return it and instead I got the mjjc pro v2 (swift premium) glad I found this out while I could still return it

The reaction when you dropped the MJJC was hilarious. I’ve tried the stiff clear plastic bottles for APC’s and other cleaners. The neck on them always breaks due to the stress the sprayer puts on them. Water bottles are softer and far more forgiving. I have some bullet style water bottles I’ve used as sprayers for products I bought the gallon size. I also use water bottles for my small mouth foam cannon. Never had one break after years of use, but if it did very easy to replace and in different sizes.

I have seen several bottles the chemicals come it have the neck break as well. Good idea on the water bottles and yes much softer.

If I go rinseless we will do pressure washer drop tests because I’ll be bringing my car to the automatic scratch wash. 🤣

I’ve been doing some research and was torn between MJJC V3 or Griots Boss and I was leaning towards the MJJC because of the foam production, however your video brought up and reminded me of a good point. Foam cannons do happen to fall here and there and this is important to consider, I’m going Boss for now. Good video 🤙🏻🤝

Another great informative video. My V3 broke exactly like yours. Right at the cap and valve area. I tried to take it apart so I could order replacement parts but had no luck. It’s an expensive mistake. Can’t wait till the next video.

I have a Dewalt Tough System 2.0 I’m turning into a portable wash cart. Still trying to figure out how to fit it all in there. Main reason I bought that small pressure washer reel from Giraffe Tools.

@@aarongonzalez2156 I thought about that, but still wanting it to all be inside so you don’t have e to move things around to power on the pressure among other things. Tough system has the same type of top, but I picked it because it has better interior dimensions and the wheel arches don’t intrude to take up space and make weird dimensions.

Thanks for an entertaining video. Looks like you need a camera man/woman to keep you in line. I'm always concerned with my Sooprinse foam cannon "Don't drop it! Don't drop it!" At least I have an Adams as a backup. For mixing soap, I always do it in a separate container and then put it in the foam cannon. My current go to container is a 40 oz clear OJ bottle. I can mix up 32 oz. Which is enough for 2 - 3 cars.

I now pre-mix my soap in a container that has a drain spout so I only get what I need and don’t have to mix in the bottle anymore. I try to get my sons to help, but they are not interested and I can’t pay them much right now.

@@ferrarista27 It’s flexible so it will eventually fit, but will take some effort. Only thing to know is the MJJC tube is a smaller diameter and so is the weight ball. It could alter how the foam cannon works for better or worse.

Most of them can, but most empty bottles are only a few dollars less than just getting another foam cannon. Most are $20 or so.

@@CarsWithKeav Thanks Keav, I had a quick question, I own a cheap ToolDaily FC from amazon and it worked with my gas pressure washer with the 1.25 office but when I put the 1.1 orifice with my electric 1500 psi/1.5gpm induction motor, I did not get any foam, even with 1.25 office. Do you think it's the Foam Cannon or Pressure Washer that is the fault? Thanks Again

@@mario_intravino I think maybe a combo of the induction motor with 1.5 GPM. Many induction motors have smart load balancing so they will dial down when feeling like they are pushing to hard. I have tried out an Amazon induction one and had similar issues. It foamed, but it was poor performance.

The main point of the video was to show durability difference between clear and HDPE bottles which was a topic of discussion in many videos due to people saying their clear bottle broke. Nobody else would sacrifice their foam cannons so I decided to do it. If you wanted to know the results after one or two drops sure that’s feasible, but I wanted to know what they could handle so I went with the three drop method and then continue to increase the drop height. You would not believe how often they get dropped. I’ve had one fall off a shelf and break as well.

Clear wash buckets are also bad for the same reason.... Too fragile and not flexible enough..

Agreed, DIY detail uses the clear buckets so it’s easier to see for the video. People ask all the time and they state these are not meant for this. That is why the Chemical Guys bucket is my favorite it’s the most transparent durable bucket I have ever owned and the only product of theirs I have now that the foam cannon got destroyed. 🤣
