Nah, I don't think so. They already lost the opportunity to "innovate" in FNF mods, and they couldn't get any more ambitious over MM because they would never finish the mod. The ending of Mario's Madness left its mark on the fandom, even if they came up with a similar ending first, it will no longer be as shocking thanks to the fact that the MM came out first. The only thing I hope is that they don't cancel it, and if it exceeds expectations I will be happy

I hope rerun can be on the same level or even be better than mario madness, but the sheer love and attention shown in mario madness to mario as a whole would be hard to exceed or even match. Rerun will most likely have better songs tho.
