This makes sense, thematically anyway. Both IHY Luigi and Too Late.EXE both died the same way, albeit through vastly different circumstances. One story is about a vengeful brother, the other an unfortunate gruesome accident. Both ending the same way, only Mr. L haunts Mario because he thinks it’s his fault for his death, causing Mario to jump in the lava pool, joining his brother one last time.

Tengo una teoría,se me hace que el juego I Hate You,donde Luigi muere quemado al final,sería una precuela a TooLate.Exe,ya que en el final de TooLate.Exe,antes de que Mr.L matara a Mario,este empieza a tener flashbacks de cuando "accidentalmente" lo tiró a la lava,y terminó muriendo quemado,para que luego su alma tomara la forma de Mr.L,el espíritu vengativo que odia a su hermano,al cual terminó matando de la misma forma en el final de su juego
