That's not Freddy, he still has that gift in his stomach and 'prototype' written on his feet, but you're still so right. That thing is creepy as heck, especially with it's head missing (which is funny cuz doesn't Freddy get beheaded in one ending) and the stomach opening to grab us (which reminds me of the Funtime animatronics). While I am disappointed we'll never get to see those scrapped Freddy voicelines where he gets possessed by the program in action, I can still dig what we got. I'm mostly just relieved the real Freddy is (hopefully) safe, because holy cow I would be so upset if this is how he ended up XD

A thing I liked about the jumpscares especially on the animatronics is that compared to the base game, the jumpscares are actually drastically animated differently from one another, instead of the standard camera shaking that was in the base game. Also, the fact that Cassie actually tries to fight off against them makes it more realistic and lively than just "guess I'll die" thing Gregory does This DLC is a big improvement imo

Wow, Cassie is the first protagonist in fnaf history to actually try to fight back in a jumpscare unlike a certain purple walking corspe and child.

These jumpscares are probably the best in the whole series TBH. Instead of the simple camera shake, they are way more involved and actually move around, and Cassie actually tries to fight back. They are a bit more brutal as well, for example the endos literally grab Cassie by her hair. Overall very well done, and I’m hoping to see this style of jumpscare continue throughout the series.

I'll be honest security breach was good enough but it wasn't scary like some of the better fnaf games like fnaf 4. But ruin on the other hand makes me hesitant to play it cuz it genuinely looks terrifying

I must admit that I loved this dlc, it shows an improvement compared to the original, both in animations, quality and jumpscares, they honestly showed off in this dlc

Legit I genuinely love how much more detailed the jumpscares are. Cassie is actually trying to HOLD BACK the threat futilely, unlike every other game where the Guard/Protagonist just kinda stands around as ooooo big scary face pops out oooooo

There are also 2 moon jumpscares and they are really good. He makes them when u go with him without turning on the generators. If u havent turned on anyone, u will see one of the jumpscares, and if u go with him after turning on only 1 of the generators, u will see the other.

⁠you hear her fighting than a giant slam I’m guessing the mimic knocked her outta power and she regains it for a third time or it’s true that she’s dead and the mimics is now using Roxy to find Cassie but he doesn’t have recordings of her voice so that’s not possible

Watching markipliers playthrough and watching him just dump on Monty was funny, but seeing Monty's attacks/jumpscares without his commentary is actually horrific. Hes actually like a bloodthirsty animal

Man I have to say that Steel Wool did an an amazing job with this DLC. The jumpscares, the sounds, the animations…Man Steel Wool was not messing with us this time. And also, the jumpscares are super unique considering the ones before we’re just shaking their head. But these seem to respond with how the animatronics look and what stability their in. Amazing job, Steel Wool studios.

It's really cool to see how brave Cassie is because when Monty Gomery's jumpscare happens we can see that she tries to defend herself from him by grabbing her teeth and jaw but unfortunately they don't have the strength to hold on and she attacks. 2:32

I love how the gameover jumpscare are no longer just the animatronic nuzzling on your face, but legitimately attacking Cassie as she vainly tries to save her life

The jumpscares are amazing and I personally think they should just remake security breach at this point with all the deleted content

I think security breach was their sort of test run, New territory that was bound to have tons of mistakes Here they've learnt alot more and are more confident, so I think they will atleast fix alot of security breach if not just remake the entire game with their more confident abilitys. Which I and I'm sure everyone else would be totally on board for. I swear even the voice acting and sound design is alot better

I find Freddy's design very unique and quite terrifying to be honest, without his head and with his stomach being a mouth, he looks like an alien which really fits in with Fazer Blast's whole " outer space" theme.

I love ALL the desings of the animatronics, specially freddy and the way they make his chest a mouth, all them are so creppy, this is the type of gameplay that security breach should have given to us since the beginning

You know how there is this general theory when it comes to games where “every death creates a new timeline?” I like to believe theres one timeline out there where Cassy manages to escape every murderous animatronic with relative ease, then dies by getting hit by a random go-cart.

This dlc is sooooo good! The jump scares are more realistic then Gregory's. The whole thing feels much more refined and complete then security breach

Small thing that blue rabbit is NOT Glitchtrap. Its a security system program called M.X.E.S. Its only purpose is to stop you from freeing the Mimic who mimics Gregory's voice. It will try to do everything even if it has to kill you.

It's not Glitchtrap. It's actively trying to prevent you from making contact with the Mimic.

that "I'm sorry" from Roxy after grabbing Cassie is kind of sad to hear, like if she still wanted her eyes back but didn't want to hurt the kid

It is interesting that basically all of the animatronics, except mimic, aren't really evil in this. Each one of their "death" scenes seems like they are just trying to stop you, not attempting to kill, Freddy's seems like he's trying to protect you except that his body is now a gaping maw, thou Roxy looks like she's trying to bite you. The rest just seem like they are trying to stop you and knock you out. And from what we learn, yea everything is trying to stop you except mimic and the BEARAI. Which the BEARAI I think id the new form of afton also trying to release one of his new bodies, the "glitch trap" in this is more protective and trying to stop the mimic getting out.

The Mini Music Man's melted face and all those mascot suits were definitely the scariest things in this dlc. So freaky.

I really like that they added animation to Cassie. Adds a bit of shock and awe to the jumpscares.

I love these channels that collect the jumpscares of ruin and not even 20 days have passed since the game came out

Idk why but eclipses cutscene later on was kinda sad for me knowing that the pizzaplex was gone to ruin and eclipse talking on the daycare being flooded with kids in the morning

The entity is not glitchtrap, it's MXES. You literally only need to reach the end for Gregory to explain to you how the rabbit is MXES, a security measure.

I like the little detail of Chica having a stomache made out of trash, like she's formed a mutant growth from all of the disgusting trash left in the pizzeria

Only problem I feel like I have is that I feel like the jumpscares got less scary later on, I felt like the security bot, chica, and monty did the jumpscares the most solid. Especially monty for be from the way he comes from the pipe at such a rapid and aggressive manner while having the messed up distorted voice but kinda went a little downhill and obviously monty trying to move around to find you but if anything he’d never see you and just be nudged into you. Other than that I feel like it thats all I really kind of it for me to be let down by but even then it’s still a improvement from main game

I think Chica's needs better sound design. That scream playing over the entire thing just makes it really goofy imo.

@@cherrychocolate1434 agreed. When I heard that same jumpscare sound I had really looked at the screen in silence trying to put the puzzle pieces together as to why bring that sound again

I’m very critical of ruin but these are undoubtedly the best jumpscares in the series, whoever animated these deserves all the praise, the pure terror of an animatronic preparing and positioning themselves for attacking the player, seeing Cassie failing and struggling to fight back as she just has to accept her death, as compared to just “woah animatronic in your face” To be fair to Scott, he never had the budget or knowledge to create similar animations, completely different types of games. But steel wool improved 1000% from security breaches mediocre jumpscares.

i really hope glamrock freddy gets a happy ending, he was so sweet in the base game 😭
