The FCX24 Blazer has been a hit with many RC enthusiasts, and after driving this rig I can see why! This rig presents a nice balance of scale looks thanks to it's painted hard body, and off-road performance. The FCX line has proven to me to be a great platform that's very capable, and versatile on the trails. Today I'll be doing a full unboxing, overview, and test drive featuring this truck, and showing why this budget priced rig could be the perfect choice for beginner or more experienced hobbyists alike.

Awesome truck and excellent video. Hint, if you don’t want to mess with putting oil in the shocks or future leaks you can put just a dab of heavy grease on the shock piston and the shock shaft. I use a ultra heavy grease that is used in the oilfield called Climax Grease (not what you think) it’s insanely sticky and needs solvent to clean it off so please not for skin contact 😉. I used it on my original Rockhobby Landcruiser and my Axial SCX24 as well as my kids SCX24s scale trucks and it works very well to get rid of the extra bounce without needing oil.

Thanks for the tip! A little bit of grease might be all this rig needs. Like I said, I like a bit of bounce as I think it looks more "scale", but some dampening would be nice. 👍

I have 2, they're great!
I was recently gifted one with the power wagon body. I intend to put the black blazer body on it. The body is slightly shortened btw. One thing that does bother me about the body is the back of the cab. I mean I guess I’d be ok cutting it out because I want to install a printed interior and I expect cutting it out would lower the CG a bit.
I am late to the party too, just picked two up, one to modify and the other and a trophy truck. I got a black one removed the chrome pinstriping. Painted rear bumper black Replaced stock bumper with fms bull bar also painted it black to match rear. Injora wheels and tires. Injora drive shaft. For now. Doing interior soon.
