One of my all time favorite aircraft. Even with the cg problem there were moments in this vid where the plane, the SKY ( amazing sky today!) and the camaraderie transcended the "blues" of a long winter. Your message and warm hearts and love of RC once again made my day.

The Staggerwing is such a beautiful plane, designed right at the end of the golden era alongside things like the Waco. It is a shame that all of the companies that offered one discontinued it so long ago.

Oh we have many more interesting birds that are hard to find. The runway is great. A lot of moles again but we will solve that in the future.

About ten years ago there was a burgundy colored full scale Staggerwing that would fly over my home in northern California. A beautiful sight and oh, the sound. Wonderful! Then a few years back the local airport opened a breakfast and lunch cafe adjacent to the hangars. I went for breakfast and mentioned the overflights I had experienced and the owner opened a door in the kitchen and in the hangar nextdoor- there was the same plane! Big and very beautiful too. I wish you both could have been there for that. Very sexy plane Keep having fun. I love your videos!

Thanks. It was the vibration problem on takeoff that shifted baterrie.

Yes it DID look a bit nose light, now we know why. 1m wingspan is great for this, convenient for travel and still big enough to have real presence in the air. Excellent landing today! Big salute from London. ⭐👍

For the most part, it still looked like an excellent flight and landing Captain Robert. This FMS Staggering is one I would love to own and the Park zone SE-5. I hope the biplanes will make a comeback. For what they were, Dynam sure had a lot of them. Nice work with the camera Captain Blaz. AirHammer out!!

But it felt awesome to stick it all the way in 😁

I had to glue a strap of velcro to the instrument panel across the battery hole to keep the battery in place. I found the initial acceleration for takeoff would be enough to dislodge the battery- even if its snug in the battery hole.

I use windex glass cleaner a little watered down some to clean tar stains off my planes. And then quit smoking 😃😂🤣👍🏻

Hello, if you watch it again, after the Staggewing is up to speed and he hits the throttle, it doesn't make the rattling noise. If it was the prop it would be a constant.
