Insane that you’ve got the Bayern job Ben! For me, Kimmich is wasted at RB, I’d look to play him in midfield next to goretzka. Dare I say maybe look at bringing Trent or someone like that in.

Reckon you bring in two strikers and a right back so you can play Kimmich and Goretzka as your double pivot in midfield. Maybe also bring in a young, high potential goalkeeper as a back up to Neuer. Then obviously Ben you can sign some OAP’s on high wages to play three German cup games. Perhaps you should make Karius the new Danny Graham too?

I've found world class RBs don't exist in FM22 unless you can pay the £100m+ for the players you said. He probably won't be able to do better than Kimmich there but he will be able to get a similar level midfielder like Barella or something. That might be a better option

You'd probably win the league without signings, so that £170m should all but guarentee it. Lets just get make sure we get Karius in, then any money left over can add one or two

Sergio Busquets could do a job! I've heard from trusted sources that he can be gotten for only a few million

Unless you do the treble in 1 season I think you’d be mad to leave after 1 year. There likely won’t be too many chances you get to walk into a side with unlimited money and a ready built Champions League challenging squad. I think you can set 2 years aside for Germany comfortably now and try and compete for the CL so if you’ve got a building job late on it doesn’t have to be to a European contending team

Glad you got the Bayern gig, Kimmich 100% in midfield with Goretzka, new RB and CB. Vhalovic should be obtainable and pair great with one of the current strikers at the club too. Can't wait till tomorrow!!!

Honestly given you strength in midfield and lack of super-star strikers, I would suggest a 1 striker system over the 4-2-2-2 either a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3.

In my Glory Hunter I won the league and cup with Milan in my first year, but couldn't find a job in the summer (Atletico, Spurs, Bordeaux) and am now in my second season but left half way through for the Lyon job - despite doing well in the champions league I felt like we weren't quite good enough to win it. Lyon at least have given me a bit of money, so hoping things can go well and I can challenge PSG in maybe 2-3 seasons if I get a bit lucky! Bayern is a big get. Definitely sign a striker or two, keep that formation as you should be even more dominant here than Milan were in Italy. Trying to get Vlahovic would be awesome, or Adeyemi.

Ben - there's one for your FM conspiracy theories, there is ALWAYS an injury before a big game, I rest the entire squad days before a big game now just to avoid the inevitable

this is a great move. i had the same kinda thing happen in mine Ac Milan job came up in December. with the job merry go round left Villa and joined milan 8 points clear in the league completed italy in 6 months and ran to spain lol.i think this is great Benjy well cant wait to see more

Agreed with this 100%. Magno might not be the one to lead the attack, especially in a one-man up front situation, but don't sleep on him. He is absolutely unreal. Plus, can play a lot of positions up front. Dump Werner, bring in someone like Vlahovic, and like others have said, get a world-class RB and you're golden.

Defo look for strikers, the 4-2-4 is working and you should keep using it. Valhovic would be perfect with a quick forward. The defence doesn’t need much maybe some strengthening the third choice cb or find a good rb like calgari or livramento and use kimmich as a cm. but first and foremost your attention should be getting two class strikers to replicate the Milan system. It’s amazing that you have managed to get Bayern as your second club job! The rep and transfer budget will allow you to aim for the champions league without having to spend years building a team just to lose to Real Madrid because bijlow got injured. I can’t wait to see what happens, hopefully you won’t finish second in the first season and get fired 😂

Loving the series Ben however what I loved about the last series of Glory Hunter was that you were not always at the stereotypically “best club” in the league such as Arsenal and Valencia hope it is still entertaining and you just don’t walk every league.

In my glory hunter I've tried not to raid the teams that ive managed, to help them maintain what ive build there, especially with Milan since in the simulation they are always pretty bad, but added every player to a shortlist to get notified if someone gets transfer listed or another team bids on them

I think you need a better goalkeeper because even though neuer is good he is 39 years old so i would sign someone like livakovic again maybe and also a new center back like ruben dias and maybe a new striker too

I mean he’s only gonna be there one or two years, so the signings don’t have to have great longevity to them. Honestly I kinda like it, most series are focused on building up and signing great young players, it’s refreshing to see older players who you already know in action in FM.

In Goretzka and Kimmich, you have the best central midfield pair in the world. Imo, Kimmich is wasted as a RB with his lack of pace.

I think a 4-2-3-1 might work better here, the strikers don't seem to be the strength of the team currently

Hows the kid Velasco doing? Even if don't sign him be nice to see how he is doing. Need to check to see WHY Bayern lost the 4 games that stopped them winning the league...is Neuer an issue? Do you need to bring in Mike or Bijlow...Vlahovic is the obvious for me but as others have said you may not need him and getting him at Bayern could mean you miss out in England/Spain. As with FM for sometime the widemen will be key as will fullbacks - upgrade where possible.
