Thank you Craig for that great explanation, it helped me a lot. I have to admit, the best advice was to get a good data cable. None of my existing ones worked and so I got a real short data cable and that did the job. Everything worked like you described it. Thank you again and keep your videos coming.

Thanks for the thorough walk troughs. If I hadn’t seen your video I might have had a brick named Noble NB4 Pro right now🥶 I did the former update with the assistant, it went well that time thankfully. You’re right about loading model memory - the second attempt loaded correctly, although the assistant crashed both times. Subbed! 😉

Yeh I do these vids to help people avoid the issues nothing worse than looking forward to a nice new update only to make a mistake and get a very expensive paper weight, glad ya liked it and welcome to the channel lots more vids to come :)

Yeh assistant v1 was great I like the functions of assistant v3 but it need a serious re design I don't like how it works at all :(

I've many FGR4-GYB units to update. When re-binding after installing the models back to the Noble pro, will all parameters (epa, exp....) need to be reset? Thank you!

Assistant v3 isn't working for Mac's but flysky are working on the mac version

Amazing job again Craig. Yes it was scary using assistant on the 1.0.2 firmware. Glad we have a safer way now. Do we know the difference of the 1.0.3 vs 1.0.2 yet?

I have a Noble Pro running firmware 1.0.2 std from dec-23-2022, I have tried to update the receiver with the latest from the Noble assistant but it doesn’t see my receiver when I plug it in. Any suggestions 😢. Any help would be appreciated

I'd update the transmitter 1st 1.0.5 is the latest for the pro then update the receivers :)

I am trying to update tp the new firmware with the stock cable I get to the part where it asks if i want to update then it turns off then on and says do not operate during updating then when i try to say start update nothing happens?

Is it possible to get the nb4 to have the same updated display with the gauge and better telemetry. I updated it and its still the same apart from some new alert features.

No only the noble pro can run this firmware

My nb4 has been great so far.. my plan is to move to the pro after this season so probably late winter early 24. Hopefully by then the new software will be more worked out and user friendly.

No it will only update to EN not EU firmware

@@WTFRCCars Had a go on the NB4 last night to test out the feel. Really nice bit of kit. Only minus is the roller dials on the side are right where my thumb rests. I'm sure they are useful for crawler drivers etc but for racers they are not required and slightly off putting comfort wise - are they removable?

I use them all the time for racing as I have my dual rates on them, the steering dual rate is really useful for indoor touring car racing as the track conditions change through the heats as more compound gets laid down on the track you need to reduce the steering dr to stop grip roll :)

So I don’t use the noble assistant to update? Just got a pro and want need to update

Yeh it will warn you cos it's a different tx but it will work fine

So it’s been 5 mins and the assistant won’t connect to server.. I’ve added it to my acceptance list in my firewall I’ve tried to run it as administrator and it just won’t connect any advice?
