Congrats bro! I acquired a 2020 SQ5 (CPO'd mid trim which is basically a driver focused vehicle w/less electrical nannies,no air bags which would be avery expensive replacement and other potential failures down the road ) w/leather interior that was a lease return from an Audi sales manager in a unique circumstance - they didn't even bother put it up for sale because the sales managers and the product specialist knew me and saved it for me + a given a good deal.

Congrats. I did the same thing. Flew into Lax from Oakland. Was picked up by the dealer. Drove the car back to Manteca. Well worth it.

Just found your vids from a comment you left on a Matt Maran video. Keep up the good work! I like your laid back style. I worked at an Audi dealer in the Portland OR area and the SQ5 just does everything so well. Just makes me wish Porsche made something in between the size of the Macan and the Cayenne. The Macan is best crossover/SUV I've ever driven but its just too small compared to the SQ5. Congrats!

What I’ve learned when flying to get a car. Buy a 2 way ticket just in case it’s a bad deal and you can still fly home. That way if there is something you don’t like about it you are not pressuring yourself to getting it

Good call! I was planning on renting a car and driving back if it didn’t work out. It was only a few hrs for me so I didn’t mind.

Very nice! Just bought a used 2018 SQ5 Mythos Black yesterday. Drove 2hrs to get it. Everything in South Florida is over priced and accidents on carfax. Mine had every service record.

I scheduled it ahead of time based on the time I’d get there after buying the car. It was a lot to coordinate but it was definitely worth it.

No interior ambient lighting on sq5 wooooot

It has a simpler version of ambient lighting on the floors and on the doors there is a long trim of soft white lighting, but it’s not the same as the prestige with various colors.
