Flying to Ranger Creek in a Bonanza - Cascade Excursions - Part 4
A quick flight over the range from Cle Elum to Ranger Creek (21W) just below Mt Rainier. A beautiful approach to runway 33, at this short paved strip in a fairly tight valley, with mountains on both sides and plenty of trees. After a hike up the mountain and meeting some nice folks, we needed to go to Ellensburg for fuel, before returning to our temporary home base in Cle Elum.

I just started flying a V-Tail and seeing you drop it into Ranger Creek like that was very impressive!
I think this is by far my favorite account to watch in regards to flying. Such good footage and pilot does a great job on keeping you entertained.

Thanks Eduardo, much appreciated and I'm glad you're enjoying it!
Glad I found you. Nice plane, wife and family.
"Aren't we going to Ellensburg?" Score one for the wife! :-)
Great video. I couldn’t help but notice that the young man in the back seat never took his eyes off of his game. I remember being that age and being able to turn to channel 9 on a united flight and hearing ATC. It was the highlight of any flight I was able to take as a kid...

I enjoyed channel 9 way into my 30s :)
Nice video, enjoyed watching it. G'day from Sydney
Well, I know where I’m going in MSFS next.

THAT WAS A "TIGHT" LANDING.
Really appreciate the Cascade series. Great videos! Looks like we have the same paint scheme on our planes😀 N34602

Thanks Peter! Nothing like brown, beige and gold :)
Another very nice video! For me, that approach into Ranger Creek is pretty exciting! I'll have to go there again and do that hike. Looked like a great view. Meant to ask you, why did you choose Cle Elum as your home base out here?

Thanks Jay! Yeah, you really gotta drop down after those tree tops coming into 33! Such a great spot. The hike was great, once on the ridge you have some amazing views. We rented a house/cabin in Cle Elum for a few weeks as we wanted to explore the area so it was mostly just a fluke.
Again, the editing is superb. The cockpit banter, at times didactic. I’m guessing you’ve edited a few videos in your time. It was nice hearing the Cessna 205 in the radio work. I’m looking forward to flying my 205 to these locations. I was talking about your stuck-in-the-sand video to a friend today. Good times...
Some nice camera angles.....
did that other pilot saying they're faster bother you? XD lmao
This is such a great video! do you mind if I repost some of these clips to my Instagram @visuallyinfinte? The account currently has 16.8k followers and I think your content would do great on my page. I will give full credit : )
