Flying the New All Business Class Leisure Airline - Beond
I tried out Beond Airlines, a new all Business Class leisure airline from the Maldives. Here's how my flight went...
I went to the Maldives for a mega aviation trip and flew on the famous seaplane around the islands. On my way back, I flew Beond Airlines from Male to Riyadh. There are 40 all Business Class seats on the A319, which is the first and only plane Beond Airlines operates so far. Before takeoff, the captain briefed us about the flight plan and route. I was able to capture amazing takeoff footage on camera.
During the flight, a 3-course dinner was served with individual platting. There is Wi-Fi onboard and the airline uses iPads as inflight entertainment. After dinner, the white leather chair can be turned into a fully flat bed with little privacy. I spoke with the cabin crew about the airline operation before we arrived in Riyadh. Currently, Beond flies between Munich, Zurich, Riyadh, and Male.

I had my doubts about this airline but seeing how smoothly everything was going, how good the service was and the quality of the seats, this is here to stay. They are geniuses to hire staff from the best rated airlines as well 👌🏼👌🏼

They've jacked their prices right back up after this video. Would much rather fly Business on an established airline for those ridiculous prices

@@danielb6766 1. The seats actually are poor compared to modern business class seats of other airlines (and they are very expensive, those promo rates are NOT available anymore). 2. No airline can sustain their operations in the long run when only 1(!!!)-15 seats are booked out of 44 seats. You're welcome.

Sam doesn't hold back any punches. Hopefully, the airline will take Sam's criticism and become a successful business.
I don't worry about privacy. I just want the bed to be comfortable. Why do you need privacy to just get a nap? Good food takes time to prepare properly. Be patient...all good things are worth waiting for. Amazing aircraft and an amazing crew.

Nice to see the enthusiasm, fun and euphoria with which the whole crew got the job done. The best business card / marketing of any company is the people who work for it. Well done BEOND !!!

Great concept. The one thing I find an area for improvement is the lighting. It seems pretty bright, like in an operating room. I think a good lighting concept would make the experience even nicer.
The quality of video and sound, the flow, the interviews, the honest opinion of the services…..again, it’s an excellent video from Sam! Beautifully done. One day will try BeOnd 👍 ✈️

Difference is they are using an ACJ A319. Not a standard commercial A319.

@@autisticlogistics3713 incorrect, it operated with Easyjet and some other airlines before BEOND. Interior got a makeover obviously, but not by Airbus!

Very creative desgin as they just started the work i believe they have a huge plan to develop and i think a much bigger airplane would be in their fleet soon. Constant development and great service would hit them in the top 10 soon enough

Nice video Sam, however I struggle to understand how the BEOND concept has any competitive advantage over the likes of EK and QR. Subpar product, schedule, ridiculously low prices, I’ll be surprised if they last 3 years. Hope I’m proven wrong because the staff seemed really caring and nice.

You actually are right, however if you read the comments over here it becomes obvious that people just don't realize this. But apparently those people hardly shelve out the money for such flights as those Beyond planes continue to fly almost empty.
