About Dyson Sphere Program:
Dyson Sphere Program is a sci-fi simulation game with space, adventure, exploration and factory automation elements where you can build your own galactic industrial empire and take over the galaxy!
You are a space engineer in charge of a project launched by the space alliance COSMO, tasked with a massive undertaking: constructing Dyson Spheres (a megastructure that would orbit around a star, harnessing all its power and energy) to produce the energy that humanity needs. Only a few decades ago, Dyson Spheres were considered a hypothetical, impossible invention - but now it’s in your hands… Will you be able to turn a backwater space workshop into a galaxy-wide industrial production empire?
Neutron stars, white dwarfs, red giants, gaseous and rocky planets… There is a big and varied universe out there, waiting for you to gather all its resources.
Every playthrough will be unique: your universe will be procedurally generated every time you start a new game. There will be different types and distribution of stars, planets and resources. Will you manage to thrive and build your Spheres, no matter what the universe throws at you?
As a space engineer, you are expected to design your interstellar factory and production lines, not to micromanage every small package going back and forth. You have to transport materials from one planet to another, forming interstellar transport teams that gather resources and bring them to where they are needed.
Then, your resources can be transported between facilities through conveyor belts, and you’ve got the technology to help your buildings fit the grid automatically during the construction process. You’ve got the best tools COSMO can afford to build a massive-scale automated production line - the most efficient one ever seen in the universe!
In my Dyson Sphere Program project let’s play gameplay I’ll go over Dyson Sphere Program tips, any new updates or any update, and I might even do a Dyson Sphere Program tutorial.

I know that as well as Dyson shells there are Dyson swarms as an alternative and that creating an immense magnetic fluctuation externally to the sun can result in a funnel of solar material being ejected in a single direction for harvesting. Its pretty far off Sci fi but I did have hopes that at least some material could be extracted from the stars, but I guess we'll just have to settle with destroying planets and milking suns.

23:20 That list is a summary of the resources of all planets in the system, including hydrogen you can get from gas giant extractors. When you get warp and can go to other stars, that summary is very helpful at a glance. As a heads up, there are some planets that have a perpetual day and night - same face always towards the star. Another nice thing to know about sorters with filters is that if you mouse over a already built sorter with a filter and hit shift, any other sorters you build will automatically have that filter, as long as you don't stop constructing. Helps with long refinery lines.

I don't know if I'll bother transitioning to deuterium reactors, but if I do, getting your deut from an orbital collector on a gas giant is OP as heck. Put some of that hydrogen into fluid storage. There is a point where you start to bridge into needing copious amounts of hydrogen. Especially deuterium, which may require fractionation... which is a step before you start harvesting gas giants and using particle colliders to make deut.

One thing that may help you is actually click on the recipes more. It not only shows you what it takes to build it, but also everything (unlocked) that is made with it, both components and structures. Some things go into a lot of recipes, some only have a handful of uses. This is really handy once you have a bulk of the tech unlocked and have an accurate reading of what you need. One thing the game does great is when you see item 1 makes item 2, you can click on item 2 from that screen and go down the rabbit hole. It's a pretty great system.

For the red cubes, get the x-ray thingie, then you can setup a 2-1 ratio of refineries (looping some hydrogen back into the x-ray versions) to product hydrogen + graphite from oil, removing the need to handle the refined oil. Also on the power, I have setup the same sort of setup with x-ray stuff to burn the hydrogen/graphite for power, but be sure to setup these guys in their own power grid (with just enough power for your refineries/extractor) so you dont spiral down when you overdraw power. Everything you overflow can then go into another set of power plants that power the rest of your base.

When you start sending solar sails, dont put the rail guns on the equator like I did, the guns have a pitch limit and will remain unactive for the part of the day the sun is too high up if you dont build on higher latitudes. Also idk if youve noticed but planets have seasons with their tilt. Although this doesnt affect temperature it will affect how long days are on parts of the planet and have the poles in sustained day or night. This means the poles can be great places for antenna receiving power from your dyson swarm/sphere when how long you maintain line of sight matters. Im excited about your series and I hope this helps!

You can use splitters to sort out items so you can drop all products from refineries on one belt and sort them out with splitter. Also makeing a buffer out of fluid storage is a good idea, it can hold A LOT and you can satack them if needed. You can also burn hydrogen in powerplants :) Oww, and you can use sorters to transport items from one belt to another belt, maybe it will help you in your builds.

Kibits, if you read this: Focus on wind and Solar until you have a Dyson Swarm. Its Cheaper and Easier to run and maintain than fuel generators. (If you have to use Fuel, use Radiant Graphite instead. It stacks higher than Light and Crude Oil and has more Energy)

You should stack more buildings like you do with your tech buildings. Also ad the sun you get an compleet overview of how much res are total in the system. You can see it count down.

A neat thing I saw while looking at some other playthoughs is that you can put multiple items on one belt then use the sorters to pull them off with filters. That way you only need one belt and you can let the sorters do the work. Much less spaghetti that way.

Splitters can also prioritize 1 outlet or inlet over the other. You just click which one you want to prioritize and dont set a filter. So they can be used for overflow control as well

You can stack storage and "science buildings" on top of each other and they'll automatically "act" like a single building. Only have to belt into the bottom and they'll automatically "suck" up into the higher ones.

Yeah. Did you know that, even though the Sun is 99% hydrogen, it still has more gold than the rest of the solar system combined. Harvesting the materials in the sun is called Solar Lifting. It's a pretty interesting concept.

Adding another tip>>> your storage/tank units can act as a freight elevator if space is 2 tight. You can sort from these 1 3 5 7 9 11 and 13 kinda cool that they made them going 7 HIGH sneaking hidden gem. What i recently been changing on my LOAD out is 1 IRON 3 COAL ORE *reason you need for all you power plants that are spread through the world/ secondly u need it for Chemical Factories... 5ENERGETIC 7 OIL. On my Line going North to South i have sections of the Map where I have these Elevators Set Up along the Guardian Path.

The solar system and map overview is good for viewing exa-planet resources in that summary on the right, don't even have to leave your planet once you have the research. I make my bus's vertical and stack conveyors, wish I could show you a pic. You can get 8 (or 9 ?) tall before your unable to power sorters. I just do a single line cause once you get the super fast belts resource feed isn't as important, highly recommend early upgrade of logistics to your max ability. I don't bother with maxing belts (especially tier 1) with the resources, there's enough time spent building that everything you need is produced before you know it and I save on alot of resources, more of an endgame thing in my mind.

Yes oil seems to be infinite currently. Don't know if you get it by the end of the video but you can crack the refined oil and some of the hydrogen into more hydrogen and graphite. The result has more energy than the input. So you can create a HUGE power plant that has 2 refineries cracking for each refinery processing crude. Put the hydrogen on an overflow loop prioritizing sending hydrogen to be cracked. Send the overflow hydrogen and graphite to power plants. I've got a dozen refineries atm generating about 150 MW, and the hydrogen is still being generated faster than consumed. Works well while you're trying to get the sphere up and running, which is where I'm at atm.

If you're like me (I'm not sure if that's set for all starting worlds or if it depends on seed), the first world will lack Titanium and Silicon ore spots - only got a bit here and there busting up rocks. The second planet (desert one for me) had plenty of Titanium but also lacking major Si deposits - apparently they're on the lava planet in the system. That makes it hard to do yellow science at the point I'm at, but flying between planets is fun once you get used to the controls.

Hey kibitz, if you look at the lines in the new blueprint mode, you can see there are lines going across the equator of the planet that gives you equal grids, most players build across these and not up and down so everything can be even.
