"Thrust levers climb maybe? - Not now." That was quite odd.
The checklists were jokes, right? That was a really bad performance...

Watching the series the first time. I'm guessing both of the pilots on the video are students? If so, I fully understand. The good thing here is that they are doing everything in a calm and somewhat slower fashion than your normal "years in the biz"-pilots would do, but I have to agree that there are quite a lot of mistakes made, which as I said, is understandable if they are both students. Either way, thanks for the videos. Blue skies!

they have to work on the mcc lack of communication and the proper way to describe the situation after an engine start
I'm pretty sure your not supposed to clean 60 foot of the runway with your tail when you rotate.
Love love these videos. What a dream come true this would be. I wonder, if it was a matter of just this sophisticated simulator training, from beginning to being ready, how many sim hours would it take before someone could literally comfortably fly this plane? I surely know I’d spend 8 hours a day in the Sims, for me esp the 737. What amazing tools they are.

On part 1 of this series I wrote that I feed the cabin check and cabin flows rushed. On this one the doubts of both pilots baffles me: "Flaps 0 maybe..." "Climb thrust now? Not now.." I know they are students, but Pranas was a student too and his flights and procedures seemed more professional and on point.
Great video, thanks a lot. Question, you never shut down the APU, why is that?
Please do another 737 video but why dont u have anewer version like the -800 or NGX
WARNING: Really cool flight sim know-it-all winners critiquing a student in a flight school below. They seem to think this is a how-to video, and don’t understand it’s just a student showing what he gets to do/learn in school.
A little messy, smoother rotate perhaps and set flex not full thrust. But, they are the pilots after all. They are learning, they are bound to make mistakes. I'm currently looking at different FTOs to train with, I'll keep an eye out for BAA.
Very interesting video as usual but you do not really seem to differentiate between the pilot flying and pilot non flying. The two roles are quite defined but you both seem to jump over each other and touch the thrust levers as if one is fighting for control. You seem unprepared for your assigned roles. Perhaps a touch enthusiastic but who can blame you. Great work as usual!
I'm surprising by this video of Baltic Aviation Academy. There are pilots of A320 like them in the true world?
Really more than amazing How much the type rating
Please send full checklist. Very nice videos.

How do you arm the speedbrakes on an Airbus? On a Boeing, you have to set the speed brake lever to the white "ARM" line. But on the airbus, I dont see that. How do you do it?

Baltic Aviation Academy videos continue to disapoint me.. By seeing this kind of performance from pilots formed there, I am sure I don't want to be a student in that school.
Rule of thumb - If either pilot uses the expression ''maybe'' they should not be in the flight deck... Retarding throttles during the take-off roll, going to flaps one below the safe clean speed and to zero flaps also below the safe clean speed, in-complete checklists in the wrong priority - If you're going to do a video on the A320 at least do it right, properly briefed and knowing what the aircraft is about to do, before it does it, then and only then do you know what you're doing.
@davorsusa9351
10 жыл бұрын
look, I agree with you by retarding throttles during takeoff roll, but they did not retract flaps below minimum flap retraction speed. That's the only thing they got it right :)

It's a chart on which you see isobars(lines of equal pressure), high or low pressure zones, cold fronts warm fronts and occlussions and squal lines(areas of heavy thunderstorms). If you check Google images you can see how it looks. From this chart you can predict 75% of the weather you can encounter during your flight.

Dont talk when you dont know about aviation. Landing lights should be off at 10,000 however the NOSE light and the RUNWAY TURN OFF LIGHT should be off straight after the gear is retracted as the lights will still be hidden as the gear will be retracted and the lights are on the gear so there is no point keeeping them on. Do you understand?

If i'm sure the nose lights should be off when the after takeoff checklist arives.
The term "flight level" is not used until you reach 18,000 feet and thereafter (FL180, FL240, etc)... 6,000 feet is referred to as "six thousand". Anything from 10,000 to 17,000 is referred to as "xx thousand" - eg: 13,000 is "one three thousand".

Depends where you are flying. Transition altitude is not 18000 ft in all countries.
@farayidarlingtonchaparadza20

On climbout after breaching the Transition Altitude, the altimeter subscale is set to standard (1013HPA/ 29.92 In-Hg) after which the vertical displacement of the aircraft is expressed in Flight Levels. Transiton Altitudes vary between airfields.
I understand that is a DEMO video. But gentlemen! Too much procedural errors!
What is it real or game ?
