Dario Costa became the first person to fly a plane through a tunnel, taking off in one tunnel and flying his race airplane into and out of the second at 250kph to set several world records and enter aviation history. Dario is an experienced professional race pilot and whilst he had been dreaming of attempting this for years, he knew it would be a complicated challenge.

His reaction is so human and relatable. First nothing at all, while you check everything is okay. Then the screaming while still high on the adrenaline of what you just accomplished, followed by an emotional realisation of the work and effort that finally was rewarded.
Seeing his reaction after the initial adrenaline dump, seeing the realization of what he's done is something special.

The delay afterwards before he started celebrating just goes to show how unbelievably focused his mind was at the task at hand. Absolutely mindblowing level of focus right there. What a pilot, holy moly.

I love that emotional release after it was over. You only see that kind of reaction out of people who are fiercely passionate, laser focused and dedicated beyond most people's understanding. The amount of work and sacrifice and commitment that goes into a one minute moment in time - it must be a truly profound experience to accomplish something so extraordinary.

Love how it took him some time to sink in “did I really just do this?” and then the euphoric cheer at the end. What a legend! I’ll be sure to try to copy him when GTA 6 comes out

This time next year Extreme Red Bull carpet cleaning.
It would be great to hear something about the preparations and also about how you were able to get the permission to fly through the tunnel. Congratiulations to this awesome achievement and as always, Red Bull did an exceptional job filming this project. At one day, I would also like to have a glider project filmed like this.

His calmness and maximum concentration is absolutely amazing...
I couldn’t help but feel that cheer when he hit elevation and the tears at the end so glad they captured that beautiful moment he had with an amazing feat he just crushed. Wonder if they designed the plane with his brass balls weight in mind 💪
I'm surprised how this amazing video is suppressed on the site. Should have pulled a lot more views in the first weeks.

This is a breathtaking stunt that definitely deserves more attention. Well done Dario Costa!
He took off his watch and perfectly set it in place in the dash, with a quarter turn and then a slight touch of the visor, it slid down perfectly into place and then game on! Jesus, the movements are even dramatically polished… I have never flown, but I could definitely imagine myself flying this little hot rod.

**LAUGHS IN ACE COMBAT**
While the stunt is amazing and takes a lot of skill and experience, the part I enjoyed most was after he landed when you could see how much it meant to him, that he was able to complete a dream of his. Seeing another person going through that experience is one of the worlds greatest gifts.
One step closer to real life Ace Combat. Hopefully no countries change their names to Belka or Osea.
