Actually it’s wyverns that have wings for arms and drakes don’t have wings and dragons could be snake like with no legs and arms just wings and a body or have a full body with legs arms and wings

The intakes mean you can get away with just using methane tanks, which I presume are lighter.
I thought the devs were talking about the Space X Dragon, the rocket that can fly backwards

Just want to say, major problem that your centre of mass is behind your centre of lift. This is what made it pancake (flip) when you first managed to take off with wings, as the plane constantly pulls its nose upwards, braking it below flight speed. You want the centre of lift behind the centre of mass so that if you stall or spin, the plane will point downwards and gain speed so you can escape the stall or spin. How far behind depends on your airspeed. Very fast, you can get away with very large difference, like the f22 or concorde. Very slow, you want it almost the same like a microglider.
