Take a flat file to the edges of your pedals to remove the excess grip tape.

I don’t understand why OMs don’t just position the pedals for heel toe from the factory

I agree - especially since they know why people buy manual cars.

Definitely not cheating, so don't worry about it. Some people have big feet that make heel-toe a physical cinch, while other have small or narrow feet and struggle more as a result. People born with big feet aren't cheating, and neither are you by installing a wider pedal, haha. Happy driving!

I don't think it is cheating. Adjusting your sitting position, steering wheel and mirrors properly is not cheating, is it? good mod!

It really isn't cheating, anyone that builds cars is going to either swap the pedals entirely or the faces to something that better fits their driving styles and maximizes their speed/consistancy.

My feet are tiny, I thinking on buying this.

Should also mention that the pedal kit requires DRILLING into your existing OEM pedals. Not something I want to do if you want to reverse the installation for a future owner.

Running a pedal cover isn't cheating. There isn't a lot of near the pedals to begin with. My first Miata had pedal covers on the clutch and brake when I bought. I moved the cover on the brake a little bit to the right and it made life so much better.

Why would anyone notice or even care about 3 holes filled in the gas pedal? It's already got holes in it anyway.

why didn't you just bend the gas pedal? that's what i did on mine!
