The first fishing of the year was at the Hakone Hayakawa River.
We fished for 3.5 hours from noon-ish to 3pm.
I had a bad impression of this river because of its slack water, strong winds, slow current, and mix of multiple currents.
As a result, I didn't land any fish, but I did have 3 landings. I was lucky that the trout bites were in the way I wanted them to.
But I am still frustrated after I got home because I wanted to see the trout in the net.
